Auberges à Narai-juku

« Perfect clean accomodation on the main street of Narai - closer towards the Shizume-jinja shrine. Thoroughly recommend for others to book and stay in. A huge private home that can easily fit two families with three large bedrooms that have multiple beds in each. Modern facilities such as kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. Takashi the owner was very helpful and pre booked dinner for us at one of the local restaurants. As everything closes early eg 4pm, it was comforting to know we had a dinner place...

« We had an extraordinary stay at this beautiful inn. The staff was so incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The room was quiet, well appointed, filled with delightful toiletries, and so comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast far exceeded our expectations, with fresh colorful food from the owner's farm and a warm, delightful staff. It is perfectly located at the base of the main street, walkable to everything you would want to see in Narai. My only regret is that we only had one night! I have...

« This was the most expensive accommodation we booked in Japan (there was nothing else available at the time) and sadly it was not worth the price. There was no communication from the hosts before arrival and we found it very difficult to find the exact address in order to locate it on our phones. We had booked dinner and breakfast and the food was average. The young man running the place was doing his best but it was a disappointing place. »

« I came with little expectations, but was really pleased with this hotel. The outdoor onsen is really nice. The corridor is a bit noisy when someone walks by. Some dust and spider webs in the top shelfs but nothing really bad »

« Such a peaceful experience. Clean and spacious rooms. Amazing baths especially the outdoor bath. Food is plentiful with a wide variety of flavours and the staff were very polite. The building is a little tired but the service makes up for it. »
