広々した部屋で窓から駅近くの通りが見渡せました。ちょうど🌸が咲いていてキレイでした…勝浦には歩いて10分位。駅前にしては静かな環境で、温泉もあり、コーヒーや紅茶のフリードリンクコーナーもあり…ゆったり過ごせました。

Very near Kii-Katsuura Station but have to cross overhead bridge to pass the train station. More stairs at this minshuku as there's no elevator. Facilities are quite worn but clean. Wished that there's more privacy at the shared baths as the changing area is right next to the door that opens to the corridor. The bath water was quite good tho, with iron content. However no info on bathing etiquette provided so I suggest foreigners read up on Japanese onsen bathing etiquette if you are not familiar. My room faced the train station but I was not disturbed by noise. It was also well-insulated, I think, as I did not feel cold in the room even though the weather was chilly. Yukata provided (surprise). Breakfast was surprisingly good and filling. Minshuku's WiFi was miserable but luckily I was able to connect to Wakayama WiFi.

フロントの対応は素晴らしく親身で女房も喜んでいた。素泊まりの為、食事は外で取ったが、何軒かの飲食店を丁寧な説明で教えてくれた。インスタントの味噌汁やお吸い物、コーヒーやお茶がサービスで置いてあり、電気ポットを使って飲めたのは嬉しかった。部屋の広さも十分であり、ゆったり出来た。たまたま、隣の部屋が空いていたが、もし入ったなら、トイレの共同利用や近さ等厳しかったかもしれない。

從紀伊浦勝站搭熊野巴士便可以去到熊野古道 行山當日可惜天雨路滑有機會一定會再去 遠離繁囂風景優美 真
酒店位置方便位於紀伊浦勝站出口行5分鐘便可到酒店 鄰近有小餐廳 可能是閑日到好多餐廳沒有開門 環境幽靜， 如果要食晚餐一定要預早預約， 我們是三人住房間，尚算寬敞，酒店整潔到滿意，服務質素都滿意 住宿設施，因為要共用浴室和洗手間有點不便，但是熱水茶包有提供

整體而言很不錯推薦，房間很舒適乾淨，早餐也好吃～ 不方便的地方是從JR車站過天橋下來這段沒有電梯行李要扛一段，另外民宿內也是要抬行李的，不過早上先來寄放行李，下午check-in的時候他們已經幫忙抬上去了，只有回去時需要自己搬。浴室是共用的溫泉，不過蠻小的，大概同時有兩個人就會很擠了，雖然這次使用時剛好都沒碰到其他人。另外洗澡外面放東西以及換衣服的地方稍微會有點不安全的感覺(外面如果有人開門就會直接看到)，有去的話可以自行注意一下。

A good hotel for recommendations
A host family in a small, quite town. You have hot spring here to enjoy. Unlike in Tokyo and Kyoto where foreigners are everywhere, this hotel is in a small city welcoming people back from or prepared for hiking. The room is big and clean. Please relax your body here.

Excellent staying experience.
Quiet facility even it is very close to the train station and local bus station. Great Japanese style staying experience supported by very helpful English speaking staff (aka Mika San ... hope didn’t spell your name wrong :)). Breakfast is wonderful and well prepared by the kitchen lady. I also found from their library a very good older manga series which can’t be found in my country. Some local small family owned restaurants nearby provide good foods in a very reasonable prices too. A larger supermarket about 10 mins away has excellent choices of foods and ALCOHOL at a very very good price. Go for it if you are planning on going to visit this area.

很舒適的民宿
距離紀伊勝浦站步行3分鐘內可達，雖然在車站旁邊，但是不會被列車噪音影響，民宿提供的早餐非常美味又健康，可以自己的起床時間選擇用餐時間，老闆娘很和善，在民宿附近也有LAWSON，購物買夜宵很方便，晚上回飯店還有大澡堂泡澡消除疲勞。 另外推薦車站的另一側有家餐館『璃王』，料理十分美味，拉麵很好吃，有機會會再來入住。

Good location but....
Only one shared and open bath room for all room and one common toilet each floor. So call non smoking room's air con filled with heavy smoking residue. But it has great breakfast and just few steps away from train station.

乾淨整潔的好民宿
若竹民宿是一家很棒的民宿，兩人房很大，衛浴共用，每天浴缸提供滿滿的溫泉。整體上乾淨整潔，店家介紹的外食也物超所值，便宜好吃又超大碗(璃王)，差在勝浦駛車站到民宿，沒電梯，雖然只在車站對面 ，約要爬兩層樓的樓梯，民宿也沒電梯，我帶大行李箱上下真不方便，好的是住房時間未到，我們外出回來，店主已貼心的幫我們扛兩個大行李送到房間，退房時要自己搬。

I enjoyed the more traditional Japanese experience, the room was small but ideal for me and the owners were super nice despite the language barrier. However, i like a shower in the morning and this place has NO private shower facilities, just a couple of shower heads on the wall with the large bath in.

Although others said wifi was nice in their room, I cannot connect to the wifi the whole time. Frontdesk not very good in English and said wifi for the room cannot connect on 1/F, despite I tried to tell her "no wifi in my room". I gave up anyway. The hotel is actually also a sashimi restaurant. At night, outside of my room was fishy. (my room has double door so inside the room is ok) By the way, front desk close 11am -2pm and no service after 8pm.

コストだけで選びました。バストイレが共同なのは仕方ありません。民宿なので特に期待もしませんでしたがさすが海に近いため朝食の干物が美味しかったです。夕方は町の食堂でいただきました。安くて美味しいお店が沢山ありました。 三階建で部屋は3階、二階の大広間では大宴会をしてましたが部屋は静かでした。

Convenient and quaint, but smoky
I stayed for one night while visiting a friend in the area. Literally right across the street from JR Kii-Katsura train station - very convenient. There was not a private bathroom in my room, but the hotel is small so there is a low chance that you will be sharing with someone at the same time, if you wish to avoid doing so. The toilet and sink rooms (they are not together) are open all the time, but the bathroom for bathing is limited to afternoon/evening. The staff was very friendly, but equipped with limited English ability. However, some of the signage around the building has been notated with English (e.g. how to use the hot water pot in the corridor to make tea). Tea is available free at any time, and there are some snacks and other beverages (including beer and sake) available for purchase. Breakfast was a delicious Japanese-style meal - freshly grilled fish, rice, miso soup, etc. When you check in, you pick a time that your breakfast will be served. Proceed to the dining hall at that time the next morning and there will be a table with your room number all set with your meal. Main downside for me is that the property allows smoking in rooms. The proprietress gave me a choice of rooms, so I chose the less smoky one. They spray with Febreeze daily, and gave me a bottle of it, but some rooms seem to be worse than others. In just one night, my stuff did not pick up any scent. And the bedding was odor-free. I would stay again.

房間沒有衛浴設備，是比較不適應。第二晚去了浦島忘歸㓊溫泉，所以沒有差太多。逛了一圈浦島，還是覺得民宿的性價比是很好的。女老闆介紹了一間日式生魚片餐廳，Ichishino 非常好吃，所以總體還是很開心的。 如果下次再去浦島，應該還是會再選擇這家民宿的！晚上睡覺前去一趟廁所，免得晚上摸黑上廁所

客房與衛浴清潔有待加強但地點與早餐都非常好的旅店
飯店離車站很近，走天橋到後站，再過一個馬路就到。飯店人員會幫忙提行李上樓、介紹周邊環境。房間寬敞但有厚重的霉味，館舍老舊，公共浴室狹小(但可以泡溫泉)、公共廁所欠修繕、隔音不佳。早餐的餐廳乾淨寬敞，且餐點內容非常棒。

Good location. Very near Kiikatsuura train station. Can walk to the port in 10 minutes. Very easy to get a bus to Nachisan. The room is tidy and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
