« We really enjoyed our stay at The Pines in Christmas, MI! It was the perfect cozy overnight stop on our trip across the UP. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer but our itinerary didn’t allow it— but we’ll be sure to come back and book this place again! It was a great set up for our family and we particularly enjoyed the living area for late night conversations, coffee (provided by host!) and breakfast at the kitchen table, and the scenic lake views with true fall colors! »

« Need many things to organize & finish. It is new & clean. Not ON the trail. The trail is assessable along a 4-lane highway. Trailer area is 10 min drive away. Problem getting hot water, not having correct room, no closet, dresser or hooks so could put anything away. Would consider again later in the future. »

« This was exactly what my family and I needed to have a wonderful stay in the U.P. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed (washer/dryer were so nice to have also!!)We enjoyed fishing on the dock (caught quite a few fish) and my kids even completed a puzzle to kill some time in the evening. There weren’t really any neighbors during our time there, which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Only complaint the amount of mosquitoes outside the cottage. Otherwise, this was by far the nicest...

« My overall impression of this property is excellent with the exception of the basement bedroom. This tiled floor needs to be cleaned a bit better. Bathrooms were very clean and kitchen as well. Our beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We all liked how large the house was. Its a shame that the yard looked so unkept. I wanted so bad to get in there and trim those shrubs and clean the beds. I hate to complain but to me thats a part of the overall experience of staying somewhere is the...
