« Our holiday was everything that we expected. The house was well presented and clean and the location could not be bettered. The only downside were some minor maintenance issues such as a couple of lights not working and the stove not working as well as it should. The floor in the kitchen could be looked at in the future as well but having said that it did not detract from the fabulous time we, as a family, had. »

« This end of Lake Bennett is the ultimate private getaway. It's like a quiet nook, away from most other cabins.The accommodation is perfect. It's spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The host has provided loads of all the good gear, including water craft and comfortable outside 'dining with a view'.Not much beats hanging in the lake on a noodle, watching a sunset and eating nibblies off the pontoon.The host is a good comunicator and has everything set up for very comfortable stay. »

« Great setup for groups of people. Everyone has their own space but can come together in the common areas. Everything you need is provided. We stayed together as a family but weren’t in each other’s hair all the time. Close to most places, very central location. »

« The kitchen facilities were fantastic, very well equipped and very much appreciated by all the cooks in the family. The outdoor dining area with the wonderful ocean views were great for the entire family, especially when the daytime seabreezes were blowing. Downstairs games area and all the outdoor games and board games stored in the laundry were a lot of fun! Beautiful gardens were gorgeous to look out on. « We spent 3 nights, house was clean and tidy. It is very spacious. Pool was beautiful, no issues with sandflies/mosquito's outside. Home theatre and pool table provides lots of entertainment. On the downside, house is showing signs of age and some appliances were out of order. I would suggest replacing the frying pans, theynlook like camping frying pans. Overall i highly recommend to stay and would love to stay again! »

« We loved the Hideaway for our wedding weekend. So perfect to have our small pre wedding gathering and then to relax in pool during the four days. Nic is a great host and made it all seamless for us and treated us to a lovely card and bubbles on arrival. The house is so well appointed and lots of little touches. It is serene and full of wildlife as well - even some curlew chicks and family to admire. We recommend it highly. »
