"Tiny House" Cottage downtown Mt. Dora Location! Location! Location!

Located in the heart of the beautiful cozy town of Mt. Dora, you can just park the car and walk to all restaurants and shops. Could not be more well located than this! It is literally in the middle of downtown Mt. Dora. This cottage was built in 1948 and happens to be the only home located within the business district of downtown Mt. Dora. The "Tiny House" offers everything you need to relax, enjoy the town, and feel right at home. In the mornings, just walk a half block to Allyson Bakery, and get amazing coffee drinks. I must admit they have the best Oreo cheesecake in the world! Don't feel like going out and about, just hang inside watching your favorite shows on Netflix and other channels. With so many restaurant options in downtown Mt. Dora, there will not be much time for cooking. But in case you decide to stay in, the kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker and everything else you need to cook a meal. Enjoy a glass of wine as you people watch from your own private porch. The King size bed features memory foam mattress with Ritz Carlton type mattress topper. Warning!: It might be difficult to wake up in the mornings! : )

We love animals and we are pet friendly! Bring your pooch ( up to 30 lb.) along for the ride. Most businesses downtown Mt. Dora are pet friendly. There will be a nonrefundable $50 pet fee. A picture of the pet must be sent prior booking for review and acceptance.

Wave and 1921 restaurants are located half block from this house. Las Palmas restaurant is located 1 block from this house. Modernism Museum is half block from this house. Maggie’s Attic is located 2 blocks from this house. This house is located one block from Donnelly Street and 4th Ave.

You may park curbside in front of the house up to 4 hours at a time from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. After 6 p.m., feel free to park curbside in front of the house. If there happens to
be no available curbside parking nearby or there is a street event that weekend, there is a free overnight parking garage located on 250 N Donnelly St, Mt Dora, FL 32757. This garage is a two-minute walk to the house.

Being right downtown is great since once you park, you can just walk everywhere. But please keep in mind that during holiday seasons or festivals, parking garages may be full and you may have to find alternative parking on further side streets. Here is a list of possible parking garages near the house:

Cozy and convenient!
I really enjoyed my stay, the cottage is so cute and cozy. Couldn't ask for a better location, easy walk to all the stores and restaurants. Parking was not an issue for me, there was availability whenever I needed it. What a joy, I would love to have spent more time there, when I return I will be booking the tiny cottage again!

Anniversary Get Away
A wonderful weekend anniversary get away with my wife. The "Tiny House" was perfect. Just what we needed to enjoy down Mt. Dora. Walking distance to everything. Come have a stay. You won't be disappointed!

Lovely little house within walking distance to everything! The Owner was very responsive and the place was ideal for us and our two small dogs. A word of caution, mowing can start as early as 7 AM and a large refrigerated truck came in the early hours of the morning, parked a half block away and left the truck running which was noisy and woke us up. No fault of the Owner though.

Wonderful weekend stay
Can’t say enough about this adorable tiny cottage. Highly recommend!! We were there for the weekend to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. This cottage is perfect for 2 people. It’s just like the pictures. Decor was perfect, smells good, plenty of towels, pillows, easy checkin, very clean. Location is excellent; we walked everywhere. We were surprised at how busy Mt Dora was which made parking a bit of a challenge during the day (limited to 4 hr window b/t 11-6) but we always managed to find parking in front of the cottage in the evening. We enjoyed sitting out front in the Adirondack chairs people watching while sipping some wine when we weren’t out exploring. Ate at the Mexican restaurant right down the street and also enjoyed a fancy meal at the Goblin Market, both very good.

Quaint & Perfect for Two
We came to Mt Dora for the annual Mt Dora Yacht Club Regatta in March and stayed at this quaint little cottage. It’s decorated beautifully and it’s truly located in the downtown historic district. It’s close to everything. We loved it so much that we booked it again, in October.

I loved the ease of the entrance and check in. The rental was very clean and exactly as shown. Would stay again for sure. The only issue is parking and would have rather had access to the driveway located on property. Restaurants in area are wonderful. Thanks Karen!

Great location to downtown!
The property was as described. Very clean...and I am very picky! Bed was comfy. Pillows were a bit too puffy for me and my partner. Overall a great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown. We were there when Mt Dora was having it's Spring Fest and unfortunately the street the house is on was one of those that was going to be closed. But an available parking lot was close by so it wasn't a big deal. I would stay there again so I would highly recommend it.

My dog and I stayed here over the holiday weekend. The town was incredible, the people were all friendly, and the place was gorgeous. The cottage was clean, accommodating, and beautiful! HIGHLY recommended! Host communicated well and was very accommodating to my pup! Although the place is downtown, it was quiet and peaceful. Really lovely place!

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage in the heart of Mount Dora. The host was communicative and accommodating. The cottage is within walking distance of downtown. The cottage is very pretty and has everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting outside on the fenced patio to people watch. We would consider this place again for future trips.

This cute cottage style home was perfect for a relaxing getaway. A lot of places to explore in the area and all in walking distance. Enjoying the sunset by the lighthouse is a must see! Property was exceptionally clean! Had anything and everything I may possibly need! I will definitely be back
