The Staff was wonderful. The two women that work Starbucks counter were so wonderful and pleasant! I had an issue with my AC unit in my room and I was immediately moved to a new room. Courteous friendly staff. Room was very clean. I will definitely return and would nightly recommend. I was alone on a business trip but there were lots of families and wedding guests groups staying here

Breath of Fresh Air
Staying at Courtyard Rockaway Mount Arlington was a breath of fresh air (as it comes to hotel stays). Check-in was a breeze, the room was well equipped and clean. Cassandra made me and my group feel especially welcomed. Well done!

I liked the new update look overall and the hospitality. I don’t like there’s no swimming pool and no free breakfast. When I booked, those two things were important to me, seeing we were celebrating my great niece birthday and I had a nine year old and a 11 yr old with me. Also, when arriving I was given the wrong room. The first room was one bed. The hotel had to find me a room with two queen size beds. Seeing, it was two adults and two children. This is another reason I don’t like to book, with third party.

We have breakfast available for purchase at our Bistro 6:30am-9:30am weekdays and 7am-10am on weekends.

Not thrilled to learn that Marriot's new policy is to change linens and clean room " after three days' stay". We had to request fresh towels, and chase down fresh drinking cups and coffee pods. Also, the shower leaked water all over b.r. floor. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Staff was great and very helpful. Room had a refrigerator And iron and ironing board. Staff dropped the ball a bit by not making up room after I asked. But they like all hotels are probably understaffed. The front desk people were great

Wry nice hotel. I thought it had a real restaurant though. With only a Starbucks and no free breakfast you lag behind other 3 star hotels with a similar rate.

Hi, the description said it had a pool. but it does not have one any more. That was disappointing. Also, you must let them know if you want them to clean your room. They did not clean our room. We stayed two nights.

Bathroom sink does not drain well. No trash receptacle in bedroom. Toilet is VERY low to floor. Toilet paper holder NOT functional..needs repair. Can use another lounge chair in bedroom (there is only one). Even before covid, all drink cups were protected by a wrapping...the COFFEE cups were NOT wraped to protect against disease...this is BAD!! TOO Expennsive for a room that has many shortcomings...we will NOT return here.

Due to current supply shortages throughout the country, we were unable to receive wrapped cups for a short amount of time. However I can assure you, these cups were replaced between each stay and the trays that they are kept in are also disinfected between each stay.

Upon arrival I tried to call front desk on room phone~~didn’t work. Concerns about wet rug ~~ walked to desk and reported both issues~~ no resolution but it was the weekend. Front desk was very pleasant and receptive. Also, sadly we were in a very noisy area~~ Room101 near reception, lounge and elevators. So much late night noise.

Disappointed in the hotel room. Looked nothing like the ones posted on website. I asked for a roll in shower, so we got a handicapped room. I don't know who designed this room, but totally not good for a wheelchair. I had trouble using the walker because the bed and desk were so close together. Also you could hear the conversations in the next room, and people were not talking loud. Disappointed that Marriot would put their name on this hotel. On a good note, the staff were wonderful!
No room for walker to get by especially when someone was sitting there...And only 2 chairs in room.

Hotel and rooms are smelling drywall in rooms , lobby every where. No free breakfast . This hotel is worst than a motel. This hotel is worth $20 a night.
