I checked in around 9:43 PM. The lady at the front desk had issues with the keys for two rooms on the fifth floor. When I went there with my two daughters, I discovered that both rooms had already been given to someone else. The staff member assigned us different rooms that had also been sold. She mentioned that almost all rooms were booked, and when I approached her again, she offered us another set of rooms but charged me for an extra room.
When I requested a refund, she told me to wait until noon the next day, when her boss would be able to process it. After some back-and-forth, she insisted that I had to stay until 11 PM and even asked another employee about the refund. Additionally, she was yelling at her 17-year-old son on the phone, who was asking her for money.
It was a scary night. I couldn't sleep peacefully because I kept worrying that someone might enter my room in the middle of the night, especially since they had made an excuse about a glitch in their system that prevented them from differentiating between sold and unsold rooms.
