« The property was pretty clean but the inside needs maintanence. Doors don’t close, not enough pots and pans, dirty curtains, loose legs on the kitchen table, fire place didn’t work, broken light bulbs, the outside wasn’t bad except that the road desperately needs to be replaced. The potholes are huge!! Staff was nice but the sign said to check in on the other side and the door was padlocked shut. It wasn’t easy to know what that meant. They should have said a more direct location. I had to call...

« Can't say enough about how great our stay was. The property and lodging were very clean and comfortable. The fresh tulips on the kitchen island told us that we made the right decision selecting this property. The countryside views are wonderful. Close to state parks and wonderful little towns. « Home was clean. Had plenty of room to move around in. Basement was nice for hanging out in. The road to house is steep. Highly recommend 4WD vehicle. Located near activities in Deep Creek. Only downside is no dishwasher so need to hand wash any dishes used. »

« Great location. Quiet, minimal traffic and road noise. Washer/dryer was a real plus. The hot tub was clean, hot and not overdone on the chemicals. Plenty of hot water from the taps and showers. A few comments on things that could be improved that owner may not be aware of: Air conditioning broken- fan runs but doesn’t cool The beds are advertised as queen size but I am pretty sure they are double bed size Owner stored items in downstairs bedroom closet making it less useful. « Excellent location to enjoy the restaurants, state parks, and entertainment that the Deep Creek area has to offer! Very close to the coffee shop and grocery shopping. Nice neighborhood for taking walks, and the kids loved the hot tub and pool table. Comfortable sleeping accommodations. »

« Nicely furnished house with plenty of space and four bedrooms, two baths. Quiet location, convenient to lake and Wisp resort. Stayed during a heavy snow storm, driveway was plowed prior to arrival and at least twice over the two day storm. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was not filled. »

« This property was very nice. Sitting on the deck was fabulous with a great view. The kitchen was well stocked (coffee included). I don't know the area well, but we were close to shops, restaurants, and treats. Would definitely stay here again. My changes would be a queen size bed in the 2nd bedroom vs a full, another chair on the deck, and time to replace some of the towels. »

« Our family of 10 had a great time on the lake. The house is comfortable to host a large group. Multiple King beds is a big plus. The lake views are stunning. Parking can be a bit tricky if you have multiple cars but after a few times pulling in and out we figured it out. We are looking forward to visiting again, hopefully in warmer months to take full advantage of the lake activities. Hima was amazing at answering all of our questions throughout our stay. I highly recommend Hygge Memories!!! »

« The communication from the hosts was professional and frequent. The home was absolutely gorgeous and just newly renovated so very new all around. It fit our family of 9 very comfortably with 6 kids. The kids loved the view of the lake and the amenities were great. »

"Do you like BEDBUGS? I don't. But for more than 100 dollars, I got a nice room with bedbugs. The manager was not around and 4 days later, I have still no answer about a refund, what would be the less they could do to be excused. I am a photographer working for travel magazines and in my life, I stayed in the most remote places in Africa, Asia and South America. But never had BEDBUGS. Thank you La Quinta, you become a reference."
