Evitez les chambres de 101 à 107 ... Trop proches de la réception, donc bruyantes ... Notamment avec certaines arrivées tardives vers minuit, qui mettent 2 heures à s'installer en se croyant seules au monde ... Le deuxième jour nos poubelles n'ont pas été vidées, nos lits pas faits ... C'est la première fois qu'on nous négligeait de la sorte, d'habitude nos lits sont refaits , nos poubelles vidées, même si nous indiquons que nous ne voulons pas de changement de draps et de serviettes pour préserver la planète !

The front desk clerk was very kind. We entered the room and the TV was on. The shower didn’t work properly. Part of the water was pouring out of the tub faucet. Thery were out of most of the hot breakfast items. The room was clean and the bed was ok

Paid for a whirlpool suite. Whirlpool overflow was broken and controls had been jury rigged to make them work. Shower curtain was too short, allowing water to run out into floor. Large slick tiles were used in the bathroom, making the process of standing on a wet floor very unsafe. The bracket in the shower meant to hold up the hand held device was broken, thus it had to be held at all times, or let it hang and use the other shower head that was at neck level. The smoke detector was falling off the wall; just being held up by it's wiring. The TV would work a few minutes and then signal loss would come up on the screen for anywhere from 30 seconds to many minutes. The ONLY good thing? I didn't see any bugs. Morgan city should take a cue from Bowling Green Kentucky La Quinta. I know that this hotel chain has the ability to do a good job, but it seems some care and some don't. This place was also in the top three most expensive places we stayed at on this 19 day trip. SMH

Upon arriving at the hotel, there were what appeared to be prostitutes and a pimp sitting and walking around aimlessly right outside the entrance of the hotel. Going into the hotel, the lobby was unappealing. The front desk furniture had damages and the decor was dated. There was a sticky drink spill right in front of the elevator so I notified the front desk person but it took hours for them to clean it up. People were trying to walk around it to avoid slipping. After it was eventually mopped up, they didn’t do a good enough job at cleaning it. There was still some spillage. The walls of the inside of the hotel were damaged and some areas had touch up paint that didn’t match the rest of the walls. It was much worse entering the room. The furniture had broken pieces, the microwave was missing knobs, the lamp was broken and the remote to the tv wasn’t working at times. The carpet was old and had stains. The view looking out of the window was the backyard of a Trailer park. The gym there(size of a closet)was a crappy treadmill, 2 dumbbells and a yoga ball. Breakfast looked terrible. Not going back again.

This hotels is in desperate need of an upgrade. No phone in the room. No notepad or ink pen in the room. Broke pictures frames. It did well for the one night I was there and the service from the workers was awesome, but no returning to this particular hotel. Crazy I received my room keys with a sticky note stating my room and the Wi-Fi password. Please update ASAP!!!

The morning desk person. Nothing else only a botton sheet no top sheet ùnder the comforter on both beds ask other guest and they had botton flat comforter and a cover sheet?? So why didnt we it felt gross the shower dint work oror the exhaust fan in the bathroom when I reported they said there was nothing they could do because the maintenance man will not come in till Mondaythe

The WiFi doesn’t work and it’s like a party 24/7 with all the guys staying for work. Even if you ask the staff to say something about loud music at 3AM they just say (what do you expect me to do). Highly unprofessional and will never stay again.

I booked a suite that showed as being available but upon checking in, they informed me that it's been booked "for months". They put me into a double queen room instead and offered no partial refund for the extra I paid for the more expensive room. There was a also persistent beep from a smoke detector down the hall. The location is good though. Close proximity to a gas station and a good Mexican restaurant.

This place was horrible. My room was not cleaned when I walk in. Roaches everywhere, No linen on beds, huge urine stains on beds and feces all in the bathroom.

What we needed but...
Overall everything was great. We only needed a place to put our heads down at night so we did not need much but as an older hotel, it does need some updates.

Not a very good stay
It was not clean. Behind chair were pieces of paper ,busted balloons and who knows what else.I was not putting my hands it it. There could have been a needle in it. I had to leave room to go to front desk BECAUSE there are NO phones in room. the refrigerator was ice over so bad it wasn't working right. Free breakfast consist of scramble egg, bread ,cereal, one type milk a couple pastries.No fresh fruit,no waffle batter ,No kinds of juices, no kind of meat, no biscuit and gravy and etc. Was a Great price per night. Bath room had a toilet seat that moved , no Bars around tub , tub VERY slipper, chipped ,stopper broken and laying aside, and no place to put your soap,shampoo bottle or face towel. Facets on laboratory was glued together. Wall receptacles with no covers

Likely won't stay again at this one.
I've stayed at allot of LA quinta with great results, but My wife specifically stated that we won't be staying there again at the Morgan city one. It was not that horrible, but she found hair all on the bed. When we got there, it took until after midnight to get to room cool enough to fall asleep, the ac unit looked like it was dirty and freezing up. My wife and son went to the pool the next day, she says there was plenty of broken flooring near the pool to cut your feet, and the lounge chairs were broken, she sat in the only good one, only for it to break and she fell back onto to concrete. So it definitely needs some updating. Not there fault, but you could hear guest running up and down the halls and slamming doors all night.

"okay" category hotel but I have seen other La Qiunta Inn much worse than this one so this is in better condition than the others.

Pool area nasty and the piil needs to be refinished at the bottom. Makes it look nasty and dirty! Not one lounge chair by the pool was not broken! Please consider sprucing up the breakfast area and the breakfast itself!

The La Quinta was a great choice of stay. Clean rooms and a helpful staff. Located in the center of town, by an East West running interstate ramp, and next to a good food place, near gas stations, and some lights entertainment. It has a pool and exercise room. Good area between the two main roads through Morgan City. Rates by night are very reasonable.
