« We were a couple traveling from the United States, both in our later 50s. We ended up not staying in the room. After having to bring our four suitcases up two flights of stairs, our room was incredibly hot. When we opened the windows to try to cool things off, we were met by several flies and other insects. The lodging is on a very busy street in Elgin. The room itself was very nice and clean, so for a solo traveler, or perhaps anyone younger than us, this may have been the perfect stay. It had...

« The start was unprofessional - we had to wait for 40 minutes at the reception as the VRBO team had not sent me the necessary email with details of the property and the Silversands people were clueless about our arrival.
