Great fishing get-away.
We found the home ready for us and well supplied with everything we needed. I appreciated the back-up propane tank for the grill as we needed it. Nice grill, by the way! Almost needed a stepstool to get in the bed! It was a fishing trip for myself and my three sons. Plenty of room to park the boat and two other cars. A less than 10-minute drive to the State Park boat ramp. Also brought two kayaks which we left hidden in the woods by the lake shore. No problems.

Nice Place
We liked the cabin. We loved how close to the shore of Rathbun Lake it is. Reasonable price for a getaway. The owner is exceptionally accommodating. Our original dates were going to have temperatures in the 100s. He allowed us to postpone so we could enjoy our vacation. Thank you so much Scott!!

Very quick with response on early check in request. House was very clean and well equipped. Close to Lake Rathbun where we had other family staying. We boated every day there. Would definitely go back.

Great house, just had lots of dust and cobwebs along with the beds are super squeaky and the bathroom door was pointless as you could see around it.

This property is close to the public boat ramps at the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with detergents, kitchen supplies, serving dishes, etc. Lots of seating in the living room for family movie nights.

We had a good time with our stay. A real plus was that the home was stocked with utensils, towels, a nice grill, bedding, etc. Really liked the country decor also. Would stay there again in the future.

Awesome get away
This place was awesome, we enjoyed our stay, highly recommend and highly considering a summer get away Scott was so helpful with our TV problem and it was extremely appreciated. It snowed while we were there, the outside was so beautiful even though we stayed in most of it, we appreciated the option for a pet, our mocha aka—- mochi pokey(English Bulldog) enjoyed family time with us as well. Perfect Escape!
We stayed at this location for a weekend away with a group of friends. The property owner was very easy to work with. The house was perfect for game night with friends. Neighbors were super friendly and came down to visit with smoked meat goodies to share. Absolutely will stay again.

Very nice, clean and great location. Roomy living area with new comfy couches, plenty of room for the family to relax together. Well provisioned…we had everything we needed and the TV and Wi-Fi worked great. We will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the deck and fire pit.

Great place for fall girl’s quilting retreat
Me and my two girlfriends needed a centrally located location for a girl’s trip. One was from Illinois, Iowa and Kansas; so this location was great so no one had to travel a long distance. The three of us got together to make a Quilt of Valor and this house was great. It was a bit dark, but with the use of lights, we had good lighting. The linens and towels were all new and fresh. We finished our Quilt of Valor around 5 PM and headed out to BK’s Boathouse to celebrate. We would definitely stay at this location again. It was great!

Perfect space for a girls weekend!
This is our 2nd time at this cabin, and its perfect for us 6 girls meeting from 3 states. Just the right amount of room for all of us. We love the front porch, and the fire pit in the back yard. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay!!

Vacation at the lake
My family and I had a very relaxing time while we were there! The house was very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful and peaceful. Especially the path down to the lake! Everything was clean and nice and the host was very nice and quick to respond to any questions.

Loved the neighborhood
We loved the location, neighbors and the gravel loop around the properties; we walked it daily during our stay. We had small children staying with us that made some of these a big deal to us; others probably not a deal at all. The main bathroom door didn't latch or stay shut and the front door didn't latch unless you pulled it shut. The "walking path" is nice but actually broke our wagon and the large rocks need to be noted on the house description as with or without children, someone could twist an ankle easily. The House had everything that we needed, the cable was nice, plenty of sitting room, and towels if needed for the beach! We could smell the cleaner when we walked in, which was nice to know it was cleaned!

The size is just right for 6. The master bedroom is large. The guest bedrooms are small but comfortable. The path to the lake is longer than you think but the cove access is great for an afternoon swim or a little evening cat fishing. There's a full selection of pots/pans and a crockpot, which was great for easy meal prep during a long day on the water. We didn't get to use the fire ring (too hot during our stay) but its a nice set up. We had a great time.

Perfect family get away
This property is outstanding and our stay was fantastic! Scott communicated with me immediately after I emailed him each time in the months leading up to our stay and responded within minutes during our stay when we had questions. The property accommodated our 6 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs easily. The home had everything we wanted/needed and the beach access was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Great location, nice & private! Nice deck, paito furniture & profane grill. Very nice & clean inside, comfortable couches & beds. Access to lake, you need to poor on the bug spray as alot of ticks. Close access to the marina & the main lake. We enjoyed our stay!
