  • Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, recently renovated cabin. Over 150 ft of lakefront is all yours in this 2200 sq ft. cabin at the top of the hill. Located across from undeveloped woodland that is home to plenty of local wildlife, there are few spots more perfect on the lake. Fishing, swimming, and floating are all possible just steps from the back door.

Was a great place for the family to stay for a few days, kitchen was stocked with the essentials, home was wonderfully updated and host was wonderful. only hitch was our own fault taking a 3-yo to a place with all glassware.

We stayed here for a long weekend over the winter solstice. Stunning view, very comfortable beds, and beautiful walks along the river. House is incredibly spacious with tons of natural light. Perfect peace and quiet for the season we were there. Would definitely come again!

Great house for our friends and family! Need to upgrade the furniture and add a comfy couch but all in all great! Driveway and parking are limited and difficult in ice lol

Lakefront get-away spot

We loved the deck over-looking Lake Freeman. Recently renovated with ample space and extra bathrooms. Sparsely furnished but functional.

The lakeshore house met our needs for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable. The renovations included some quality lighting and appliances but the rest was a work in progress. Additional lighting in the kitchen would have been helpful and as others said the furniture is sparse and could be cleaned. The access to the river is limited due to overgrown brush and decaying leaves, so swimming and floating are more for the adventurers. There isn’t a fire pit as advertised but a space with rocks and no seating areas. It’s a lovely view from the deck but the outside of the house is weedy and overgrown. We enjoyed the visit, went to a winery, golf, and boat rental made the trip a great time.

Awesome VRBO lake property

The pix do not do this property justice, it was heaven. The engineering detail like the semi circle wooden steps, the master bath just out of architectural digest. The 20 foot island bar overlooking the lake was just fantastic. The deck with a wonderful view of the lake. Our friends who stopped by for 30 minutes took more pictures of our VRBO then they did at the wedding reception. All new appliances, pristine wooden floors. We wished we had booked a longer stay, we will be back for sure. Hosts were on top of everything, for sure know what they are doing.
