You’ll have plenty of room to settle in and spread out in this 2,497-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom Modern Coastal charmer. Situated in a quiet Del Rey Oaks neighborhood, the recently renovated home is close to all that the Monterey Peninsula has to offer.

Living Spaces
A sense of spaciousness greets you as you enter the living room that looks through to an open family room, kitchen and dining room. A vaulted ceiling with skylights, wood-burning Greystone fireplace, a table with 4 chairs for playing games or casual dining and all new comfortable furnishings offer an invitation to relax and renew.
Beautiful engineered hardwood floors and walls washed in soft blues throughout the home bring to mind nearby sandy beaches and the sparkling Bay.
Down a few steps, the family room features stylish seating facing a 65” flat-panel TV. Opening onto the kitchen and dining room, the great room concept is a perfect setting for gatherings.

Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances including a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with in-door filtered water and ice dispenser, gas stove with double oven, dishwasher and microwave. You’ll also find all the small appliances, including a toaster, Keurig and drip coffee makers and tea kettle, to make for a convenient stay. There is ample counter and cabinet space including a peninsula-style breakfast bar with seating that marks off the kitchen from the dining area. A large dark wood dining table with 5 chairs and a bench can accommodate a large group.
The kitchen and dining room boast vaulted, beamed ceilings, windows of various shapes and sizes, skylights and sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful deck that spans the back of the home. A gas grill and comfy outdoor seating shaded by a large umbrella offer a great place to cook and take in neighborhood views that stretch to the mountains in the distance.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Upstairs, Bedroom #1 is a suite that occupies the entire floor. It features a queen bed, a small desk with chair, an upholstered armchair, a flat-panel TV, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a standing shower.

Downstairs, just off the living room, a long hallway separates 2 bedrooms and includes a washer and dryer behind louvered doors and a roomy bathroom with tub/shower combination.
Bedroom #2, in the front of the house, has a queen bed.
Bedroom #3, in the rear of the house, has a twin-twin bunk bed for children and a separate twin size bed.
On the other side of the living areas is Bedroom #4 with a queen bed, tiny bathroom with standing shower, a closet and sliding glass doors that open onto the deck.

You’ll be centrally and conveniently located to a world of cuisine from Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese to Italian, Mexican, soul food, seafood and more. Shops and services are abundant in all directions. Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Seaside and Marina are just a short drive away. There’s easy highway access taking you north to the Bay Area, south to Carmel Valley and Big Sur, and east to Salinas and beyond. The Monterey Regional Airport is a short drive away.

There’s a fully fenced-in backyard with low maintenance landscaping, and a charming garden area. Both driveway and on street parking are available.

Well-behaved under 20 lbs dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

Great home for family gatherings

Excellent place to stay for infants to grandparents. Very convenient to get to attractions in Monterey. Easy access to highway get to Carmel and Big Sur. Well equipped and very clean home. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Staff is very easy to reach with quick replies. It is a wonderful place to stay!

Loved staying here, excellent property. Only two issues were many holes in the fence (our small dog escaped but luckily came back), we spent some time covering them with bricks and rocks and pizza boxes. Also bedroom off the family room was unbearably freezing at night, probably due to leaky sliding glass doors. Otherwise the place was gorgeous and spotless and stocked with everything you would need. Definitely would come back!

Spacious Home

The property is spacious, quiet, and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the large dining table and kitchen space. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, and lots of dishes. The location is about a 15-minute drive to Cannery Row depending on traffic. One thing to be aware of is that the property management's cancellation policy differs from what is listed on Vrbo. It would be helpful to have the actual policy reflected in the listing.

Roomy and clean

I love the spaciousness and cleanliness of the home. The host provides organic body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, as well as plenty of towels. Kitchen is fully stocked and neatly organized. We were able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the back deck. Loved the location. Overall very please!.

This is a beautiful house and worked perfectly for our family celebration of my brother's 80th birthday. Only accommodation issue was listed as a "fold out couch" was actually 2 small fokd out chairs that were very unstable and impossible for anyone to sleep on. This is a nice home within driving distance of many tourist attractions. It was clean and well-maintained. Our only issue was that there was no queen- or king-sized bed in the primary suite of the home. A full-sized bed with a hard mattress is rough on two adults.

Best getaway

It was so nice to have a spacious, lovely place to stay for our friend reunion. The neighborhood was so nice and quiet, location was easily accessible to airport and grocery store too. The pillows were so comfortable and it was nice to have 3 bathrooms for all the people we had. Loved the big kitchen and dining table too, plenty of seating! Wonderful stay.

Nice stay if you want to be close to Carmel/Monterey

A bunch of us rented the house for a friend's wedding in Carmel. The house is exactly as listed in the description and really is beautiful. The large windows give you a 180 degree view. It's super convenient if you're flying in and out of Monterey airport. You can actually see the airport from the house. The only 'con', if you could even call it that, was the location was just OK. You are close enough to everything making it easy to travel and see nearby neighborhoods.

Lovely home in Monterey

What a beautiful home! There were 6 adults and 2 kids and we all felt like we had our own space and great community spaces. Lovely and bright with very comfy beds. Really fantastic products for the bath and cleaning/laundry. Truly a great home in a prime area. Only a short drive into Monterey (7 minutes). Loved everything about this place. So clean and such kind and helpful property management. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Sunny, quiet and clean house in a convenient location

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The rooms are just as they appear in the photos. The beds are comfy, the shower pressure is good and the view from the balcony nice. It's in a good location to get to many points around Monterey and near a grocery store.
