Rooms were older but neat and clean. Check in process was super easy and front counter staff was friendly. We stayed two nights. It was raining so there were a lot of construction/road work people who were staying there. There music was a little loud, meaning you could hear it when your tv was off, but not enough to complain about.

The internet did not work in our room....called front desk they said it worked good up there.....pet friendly but no place to really take your dog out. Used soap in the shower and the toilet paper holder was literally falling out of the wall.

Nothing wasn’t unique. The room was very nasty. The room had a very nasty smell, carpet was vacuum, mirrors wasn’t clean, bathroom was disgusting, tub wasn’t clean hair was everywhere. Floor wasn’t swept or mopped.. around the toilet the bottom still had black spots like mold and urine at the bottom. I will never stay here again just nasty!!

Two times in the last three weeks I have used your service and have beenD DISAPPOINTED. I AM HANDICAPED AND I HAVE REQUESTED A HANDICAPPED ROOM OR A DOWNSTAIRS ROOM. BOTH TIMES THERE IS NOT A ROOM AVAILABLE AND I HAVE HAD TO STAND AND ALMOST BEG FOR A ROOM I COULD USE. I WILL NOT BE USING YOUR APPLICATION AGAIN. ONCE IS AN OVERSIGHT TWO IS NOT CARING.

Pool was dirty no chairs or umbrellas water very warm. Room had a moldy smell not enough towels for bathing and swimming and when I asked front desk for more she gave me 1 for a family of 3. Room was clean, airplane training very close planes flying low continuously

Told night clerk (doing nothing) that TV didnt work. After an hour, i told her to either move me or fix it so she finally wandered up there. Luke warm water the next morning. Manager/owner came up and argued with me that the water was fine. I checked it after he left and it was still the same. RUDE owner, LAZY & RUDE night clerk. I heard the same clerk tell a lady desperate for towels that "cleaning will be around". Day front desk staff were nice. NIce hotel, terrible management.

The room was dirty. Hangers were dusty. Shelves were dusty. The microwave door didn’t close, so it wouldn’t work. Upon my stated concern, the microwave was replaced. But what that tells me is that housekeeping either didn’t clean it, ignored the broken door, or reported it as broken and no one addresses it. The parking lot was full of trash and beer cans. I’m disgusted.

Our Monroeville Mockingbird Stay
The pros: Our stay was fine. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The cons: The pool area needs attention. Four tables; two were broken. Only TWO chairs total. No recliner chairs. The water was clear, but the grounds needed sweeping. The continental breakfast was ok, but could use a little more variety. The waffle maker was the highlight. No bagels, no fruit, no eggs- boiled or otherwise. Overall the stay was fine. We love the Mockingbird theme. We liked the vegetable gardening that we say around the back of the buildings. I’d give our stay a 9 out of 10.
