Beautiful house and property. We are returning guests from last year. The dock was great for fishing and swimming and the kids had a ball with the air hockey table. The house is convenient to the marina with the arcade and mini golf. Quite the family hit!

Perfect Lake Getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this well equipped house on the lake! The property was peaceful, clean, and had proper spaces for our family. We stayed as 3 families with kids of all ages. The lake location is great for fishing and safe swimming without boat traffic and big water noise. The private COVERED dock was ideal for lounging, fishing, and jumping into the water for a swim.The house was well-equipped and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax indoors and out, covered screened deck kept us dry during short drizzle, it allowed us to stay outside most of the time. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to unwind, enjoy nature, and make great memories by the water. This was our 3rd stay here and we hope to come back!

The house was perfect. Layout super for families.Two basement (walkout, great views) bedrooms openup to family room with large TV, pool table, and air hockey table. It also has games, puzzles, large selection of movieDVDs and a player. Very nice house with lots of bedrooms and activities for the kids. Host was proactive in communication and quickly responded to inquiries. Convenient location on SML with nearby parks, grocery stores and restaurants. Would recommend!

Relaxing vacation

The property is conveniently located near marinas and shops. The house is nicely renovated and well stocked. The outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing by the lake! They even have a nice fire pit area right next to the water which made a perfect end to our days out and about around the lake. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location

We had a large group travel to the Lynchburg area to play disc golf at a bunch of the local courses, including New London Tech, which hosted the World Championships in 2024. The house was centrally located to the courses and close to amenities that we needed after long days of playing, such as restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. The game room kept the group entertained in the evening and there was plenty of space for all 9 to sleep. We did have an issue with loose stones on the right side of the driveway. I could see someone getting stuck if they are not careful.

Lovely Fall Getaway

Great house with amenities to keep four boys occupied for a long weekend. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Beautiful kitchen to fuel the weekend. Lake is lovely and the dock easy to access. The porch is great for enjoying the sights and sounds.

The house was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient to Bridgewater Plaza and easy water access out into the main lake. Relaxing Trip

We had an amazing stay at the house. The house is spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms were accommodating and comfortable. The kids had a blast in the downstairs with the DVDs, air hockey and pool table. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The dock was in a tucked away cove allowing for uninterrupted swimming. There was plenty of life jackets and floats in the bin. The lake itself is gigantic! Great for site seeing, tubing and fishing which we did just about the whole trip! Location was great as it's close to stores and restaurants.

We loved staying at Smith Mountain Lake!! The location of Sunny Days is perfect! Convenience of grocery stores, Bridgewater Marina and yet the peacefulness of nature on the dock.

Nice house in a quiet cove

This was our 2nd stay in this house. It is located in a very quiet cove with deep water suitable for swimming and fishing. We spent most of the time on the dock which has nice covered area to keep yourself cool in summer heat. The house was very clean, cozy, with plenty of space to spread after a day in the sun and water. Covered screened deck off the kitchen level is very nice to have , protects from elements, rain and moscitoes.

No Regrets

Though the stay wasn’t long, I enjoyed the home. It was spacious, clean, and overall a great home. The only disappointment is that we had to clean a portion of the patio to sit and enjoy the view. But it would not deter my future bookings. I just wish we could have enjoyed the the up and bottom patio more. I enjoyed the visit and the property.

Family Thanksgiving

We stayed at the house on Smith Mountain Lake for our family Thanksgiving. There was 10 of us and plenty of space. We had a great time lounging at the house and also taking the very short drive into town. Very convenient location! This home is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. We hope to go back in the summer!

Wonderful Stay

Your house was beautiful. We enjoyed our family weekend very much. I loved drinking my coffee on the porch swing early morning while watching the water. So relaxing! The inside is very charming and inviting. My family enjoyed the game room. Everything we needed was provided. The host was easy to communicate with prior to arrival. Would definitely stay again!
