Superbe Appart Design au bord de la promenade
Très bel appartement ou nous nous sommes sentis en vacances dès le premier pas. La situation au bord de la promenade, le Design, le grand balcon face à la mer.... Top. L'appartement a beaucoup de charme et est bien équipé avec des ustensiles de cuisines en bon état et utilisables. Accueil très pro et amical de Catherine qui nous a donné plein d'idées de sorties aux alentours. Idéal pour un couple ou couple avec un enfant. On se sent très bien dans cet appartement cosy. A noter l'absence de climatisation, qui n'est pas forcement un point négatif et aussi l'absence de machine a laver le linge, qui nous aurait manquée si nous étions resté un jour de plus. Pensez absolument à confirmer votre heure d'arrivée à Catherine - même si c'est pas toujours facile... Bref nous recommendons chaleureusement et espérons pouvoir revenir bientôt. Accueil super chaleureux de Catherine😁, de bons conseils pour le séjour, l'appartement est sympa, petit bémol il n'y a pas de micro ondes et de quoi laver son linge mais on s'adapte. L'endroit est très joli et l'appartement est très bien situé face à la mer et à deux pas de la ville. A venir voir🙂

L'emplacement de l'appartement en plein centre et en front de mer avec une très belle terrasse face à la mer est parfait. Il n'y a rien à dire sur les équipements. Une petite réserve s'agissant de la deuxième chambre vraiment très petite si bien que la porte ne peut se fermer et de la première chambre plutôt destinée à un enfant qu'à un un adulte. Par ailleurs la chaleur dans l'appartement était un peu pénible

Très bel emplacement
Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Catherine et Philippe sont très réactifs en cas de besoin, avec beaucoup de gentillesse. C'est véritablement un très bel emplacement au coeur de la ville et face à la mer. La terrasse est vraiment le must de cet appartement. Et l'on peut véritablement profiter de Menton sans avoir à prendre la voiture. Très appréciable. Petit bémol. Pas de machine à laver. Ce n'est pas indiqué dans l'annonce. Donc rien à dire. Mais c'est vrai que l'on n'a pas forcément le coup d'oeil, tant c'est un appareil habituellement présent dans les logements. Le ballon d'eau chaude s'est plusieurs fois mis en sécurité. A quatre personne, c'était un peu juste. La chambre sans fenêtre est vraiment très petite. Mais nous avons pu transférer le lit dans la seconde chambre pour faire un lit deux places comme dans la grande. Cele se fait assez facilement (petite astuce si deux couples !). Enfin, pour la place de parking, nous nous y sommes pris trop tard. Je pense malgré tout que cela ne doit pas être aisé de réserver avec la configuration de l'immeuble. Il faut compter un peu moins de 100 euros la semaine (en avril) pour poser la voiture dans un parking tout proche. Pour finir, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Que du bonheur d'être au coeur de Ville à proximité de tout et avec la mer face à soi. Nous recommandons.

Nous avons bien aime l´appartement. La vue sur la mer est super!! Nous n ´ avons pas du besoin la voiture, tout est accessible a pied ou avec les transports en commun. Seul probleme - ce n ´etait pas claire qu ´on devait payer la deuxieme partie de la facture en avance.

Emplacement et charme : tout y est !
Cet appartement est plein de charme, il a une véritable âme qui rend le séjour unique. L'emplacement est également au top. On peut peut-être regretter le bruit de la circulation sur la promenade du Soleil, mais franchement, pas de quoi gâcher le plaisir. L'accueil est très professionnel et particulièrement sympathique.

Séjour très agréable
Appartement bien placé en face de la plage de galets pratique pour la baignade. Egalement bien situé pour visiter la vieille ville. La réservation du parking top pas de problème de stationnement. Merci à Catherine et Philippe pour leur bonne humeur et les bons conseils. Bémol il manque un étendoir mobile pour faire sécher les serviettes, et un éclairage solaire pour profiter le soir de la terrasse.

Bel appartement idéalement situé dans la ville
Décoration soignée, recherchée et qui invite à la détente. Il est toutefois regrettable de ne pas disposer de rangements dans les chambres et tout particulièrement dans la salle de bain, ainsi que d'un micro-onde dans la cuisine. Il est à noter l'absence de fenêtre dans une des chambres dont la superficie est d'environ 4 m2. La vue de la terrasse est parfaitement conforme aux photos, l'accès immédiat à la plage de galets est très appréciable. Catherine, qui n'est pas la propriétaire mais la gestionnaire de cette location, est accueillante et nous renseigne avec plaisir sur les richesses de la ville et de ses environs.

Situation géographique parfaite, belle terrasse face mer, décoration de l’appartement soignée. Idéal pour un couple avec deux enfants. Catherine et Philippe sont aux petits soins pour accueillir et accompagner les locataires durant le séjour. Nous recommandons cet appartement ainsi que la ville de Menton où l’on a été systématique bien accueillis.

Just what we needed
I don't think I can begin to summarize our stay at La Terrasse du Soleil. All around an excellent experience. The location of the property could not be any more ideal. The views fantastic, the water inviting, and the ambience of the apt perfect. Our host Catherine was both accommodating and informative. I would highly recommend this listing. Make sure you take advantage of the sundeck.

Great location, beautiful terrace view, close to everything
We got a very warm welcome from Catherine, who also gave us some great tips on what to see during our stay. The location of the apartment is outstanding - 1 minute from the beach, and 1 minute from the main shopping/restaurant street. Menton is literally on your doorstep. From the spacious terrace, you overlook the lush garden below and the beach (just 50 metres away), with views of palm trees in the evening sunset, people promenading back and forth with an ice cream, and the gentle comings and goings of guests in the hotel gardens right next door. The apartment is light and airy with high ceilings, and is well-maintained, beautifully decorated, and comfortably equipped - though we found the mattresses a little bit firm for our tastes. The convenient location of this apartment (and the great rail connections) meant we could spend 8 days in Menton without a car, simply using the trains to visit the beautiful coastal towns and beaches. We would definitely return.

Location is great and hosts were excellent. The apartment has a lovely terrace and obviously aims to be quirky but it is in need of some up-dating. No comfortable chairs, no small pans or plates, no shelves or towel rail in bathroom. Very little space for clothes. Advertised as apartment for 4 but I am glad there were only 2 of us. 2nd bedroom small, 3rd bedroom tiny and without a window. Also no double bed in main bedroom (2 singles). Some lovely things there e.g. the large table in the main room. I felt it was expensive but then the location and terrace probably just tip the balance in its favour.

More style than substance.
The photos flatter this property which has character and a good position but is in need of upgrading particularly given its current rental cost. The main room is light and airy and very quirky but wooden benches are not comfortable as “easy chairs” and the cane furniture is well past its best. The kitchen is alright but there is a need to update some of the saucepans and the limited storage space. The balcony has a lovely view but is constantly noisy and is in need of refurbishment. The main bedroom is ok but again there is no storage space normally though Catherine foresaw this and provided a clothes rack. Why it doesn’t have a double bed I don’t understand. The other bedrooms are small and the third bedroom has an issue of having no window and the door cannot be easily closed. We enjoyed our stay and Catherine and Phillipe are very helpful and the proximity to the beach and market are definite advantages but the “tired” state of the apartment is quite disappointing.

Schönes Objekt mit sehr kurzem Weg zum Strand. Hier ist der Strand trotz der zentralen Lage eher leerer als am Rande von Menton. Das Apartment ist etwas zurückliegend, so dass der Verkehrslärm nur selten störte, allerdings machte die Straßenreinigung sehr früh morgens einiges an Lärm. Der lange Balkon mit dem langen Tisch mit Blick aufs Meer war zu allen Tageszeiten unser Lieblingsplatz. Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet, das Bad neu renoviert. Schade, dass am Waschbecken gespart wurde - es eignet sich gerade noch als Handwaschbecken (Größe ca. eines DIN-A-4-Blattes). Größtes Manko ist fehlender Stauraum und fehlende Ablagefläche im Bad. Entgegen der Beschreibung ist hier kein Parkplatz inkludiert so dass auf den Wochenpreis der Unterkunft nochmal ca. 80 € Extra-Kosten auflaufen. Das Auto benötigt man lediglich für weitere Ausflüge - sonst ist so ziemlich alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Insgesamt ein gutes Domizil für entspannte Tage.

Perfect place for a short holiday
We had a wonderful time in Menton. The apartment is great and it was just a walk over the street to get to the beach and a 2 minute walk to get the farmers market. The terrace and outside shower are fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped. The only downside was that it gets quite loud in the mornings due to traffic and that the beds were a bit shaky because there had no solid bed frames.

Wonderful apartment right at the beach
We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Menton. It is decorated with a lot of taste and the terras overlooking the beach is just great, as there is a garden in front it is also less noisy. Catherine welcomed us warmly and give us all sorts of nice tips and good advice about Menton. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return if we would stay in Menton again.

Vi har nydt en uge i denne charmerende og hyggelige lejlighed , og nydt i fulde drag at sidde på terrassen , og nyde den dejlige udsigt .Det har været en stor fornøjelse at være Så tæt på strand og Hav , Vi er blevet taget super godt imod af Cathrine ,eneste “lille “ minus er sengene ,som nok er forbeholdt Til lidt mindre børn .

Lovely October break
We were a party of 4: 2 adults and 2 teens. Loved the social space in the apartment- glorious sun terrace is exactly as in the photos. 3rd internal bedroom had make-shift bed probably more suited to younger child but we managed. Location for old and new town was ideal and buses stopped outside or nearby. Very close to Les Halles market which we enjoyed. Would definitely return but only if party limited to 3 next time.

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen und war für das, was wir wollten -keine weiten Wege, Strandurlaub- genau das Richtige. Zu viert könnte es eng werden, aber zu zweit oder dritt ist es ideal. Sehr schöne, charmante Wohnung, in der man sich sehr wohlfühlt. Wir kommen wieder.

A piece of Heaven
This is a lovely apartment to rent for small numbers and if you do not want to rent a car. The proximity to beach , super fresh food market , shops and restaurants makes its location hard to beat . The vibe in the apartment is rather cool and you have amazing back up with Catherine and Philippe. They go really out of the way to facilitate your stay . The balcony is the icing on the cake!!!

Sitting on the balcony overlooking the seafront having breakfast or a glass of wine was the perfect start and end of each day. The apartment was also close to shops,restuarants and the market. The apartment was a good size for a couple. Catherine was very kind and helpful.

The main reception room is delightful, full of sun and light with great terrace space overlooking the sea. Catherine and Phillipe, who take care of the flat, are extremely kind and helpful. Some improvements, such as a bigger wash basin in the bathroom, better storage space for clothes and a better range of kitchen equipment are essential. We would like to return and hope to see that these changes have been made. The description of the property should make it clearer that the second and third bedrooms are very small single rooms, one of which is internal.

Best location!
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was just perfect and nothing can beat that balcony! We really loved it even in the winter. We loved the bohemian feel of the apartment and it provided everything we needed. Catherine was also extremely helpful and easy to communicate with.

Very nice & stylish appartment 2 steps away from everything
Nice 3 bedroom appartment (2 smaller 1p bedrooms) on a great location in a very nice appartment building close to the beach en historic city centre. Really enjoyed staying here and I would recommend everybody to stay here in this stylish and clean appartment.
