« I had an amazing time at The Roost. From the minute I stepped on grounds, I felt welcomed. The room was beautifully decorated and clean, staff were all nice and welcoming, and the pool area was so serene. All of the decor was so beautiful and detail oriented. « What wonderful space to stay in! Plenty of room for a couple and to have a couple over for drinks. Everything about this cottage is top notch: the furnishings, the kitchen, the decor and….the art work! The outdoor garden-entrance is so charming. All close to the historic area and Washington Street pier. We hope to return.Thank you Joy and RJ ! »

« My sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at the Shell House for Thanksgiving this year but also to have a small memorial for my mom who passed away in August. It was the perfect place to be together and remember her and celebrate her favorite place be, the MS Gulf Coast, where she grew up. The place has everything and even though the setting is perfect, and the decor is just beautiful, it has a feeling of "home" and that is what we miss the most about our mama. « What a cute little home! We stayed overnight and had everything we needed. The property is so well taken care of - pretty flowers and trees everywhere! A nice little porch to relax on when the weather is right. The inside was perfect size for a couple - nice comfy queen bed - claw foot tub, perfect for soaking after a warm day exploring. Wish we could have stayed longer to relax in the serene yard... Ramon answered all our questions and he and his partner were so nice! We also enjoyed visiting...

« We stayed in the Carriage House, which despite being very old did have modern facilities. The air conditioning and shower were very good. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It was good to have the option to stream films on the TV. We were sent an email from our host with instructions to access the property and park which also gave good recommendations to local restaurants and attractions. »

« Perfect getaway! Such a great location and beautiful home. Loved the view of the river. The sunsets were so pretty. The walking trail sidewalk is so nice and safe even at night. We enjoyed walking on the scenic trail to eat. We would definitely stay again! »

« It was a great place to stay just 3 or so blocks from the beach. The Bungalow is an upstairs 1 bedroom apartment style vacation home. Downstairs is another unit called the bunkhouse. There is also a short term rental home. We all shared the beautiful grounds and had a great time hanging out with the other renters. There is ample parking in a quiet neighborhood. The owners were fantastic to deal with via text messages. The Bungalow was tastefully decorated and there is thoughtfulness...

« The stay was very peaceful and the house was tucked away but close to a lot of food and activities to do. Perfect place you and another person to have quality time together »
