Fantastic condo, beds were comfy, and it was the perfect size for our family. The location was perfect, only a walk to the wharf for family activities and restaurants. The gold cart was perfect for going to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Condo was well equipped and had everything we needed and the golf cart is an absolute must. Our two kids loved getting around in it. The main pool was closed a day and a half for tile work which I thought was a bit ridiculous being peak season. Seems like something that should have been addressed in the offseason but we just used the other pools so minor inconvenience. That said Matt was very attentive and timely with any concerns we had. The one thing I would note is the beach access. It is incredibly busy. I mean very very busy. Iā€™ve been coming to Sandestin since ā€˜95 at least once or twice a year and Iā€™ve never seen a beach there that busy. We would absolutely return since Baytown is a great location for our family with two pre-teens but wouldnā€™t come in the summer. To me itā€™s a great location for a fall trip unless large crowds on the beach donā€™t bother you, but thatā€™s not a knock on the condo. Just lots of people using the same access. The condo itself and location to everything in Baytown was great just be warned about the crowded beach during the summer.

We had the best week staying at the pilot house! I would highly recommend to anyone. The location was perfect for our kids and the pool was amazing. Matt was easy to communicate with sent easy to follow instructions about the property. We would love to book again!

Excellent location for our kick off to summer vacation! Baytowne Wharf was perfect for our teenager and her friend to explore while giving them some independence yet staying connected. They loved using the bikes to explore the resort and the golf cart made going to the beach a breeze. We loved the nightly activities such as fireworks and drone light show in the wharf. Owner was highly responsive to questions about condo and area.

Easy check-in. Beautiful place. Beautiful view of the pool from the balcony. Golf cart was so nice to have to go to the beach. Beautiful grounds for a bike ride or a walk. Had a question for the owner and he answered right away. Loved our stay.

This was the perfect condo for our family of 4. The location to the Wharf was my favorite part! So easy to come and go as needed, and avoid the evening parking mess! The golf cart was perfect to get around Sandestin and we loved the speakers to be able to listen to music. Overall, everything was amazing and we would visit again with this listing!

This was a great place to stay. So much to do right outside your door and the golf cart was a great bonus to go to the beach or run over to Grand Blvd for dinner or shopping. Room was very clean and updated. No worn out furniture. Pool area was a little small but it did the trick and workout area was fine. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Overall unit is fine, though our experience with the host was less than great. Upon our arrival the entire patio (looking out to the pool) was closed, furniture was filthy, and scaffolding outside windows. Turns out they were painting the patio the ENTIRE week we were there. We booked this unit 6 months in advance and the host never notified us that there might be a possibility we would not be able to use the patio. He claimed he didn't know. We had men working on our patio daily, starting at 8am, for the entire length of our stay. We could not open our windows, slider, or blinds as they were taped shut. Halfway through our stay, people had to come and remove the furniture off the deck. When asking for some sort of a refund for the inconvenience, the host said "if you find another unit, we will refund you", it was spring break, there were no other units, and the only ones available were 3x more than we paid. After DAYS of going back and forth with the host, he begrudgingly offered a small refund, though at first, he told us he would not be offering us one. This was our 5th year staying in Sandestin at the Pilot House, and our 2nd year renting this unit. I will never rent from this host again, and I would advise that you look at one of the multiple other properties available. Other items to note: - The master bed is extremely firm and you can feel the springs. - The beach chairs provided were rusted and broken, bring your own.

My husband and I, along with our 2 boys (ages 11 and 15) absolutely loved this place. It was so easy to just walk where we needed to go for dinner and entertainment. The Village has several great places to choose from to dine, shop, and be entertained. We never had to leave from the Village area to go eat, and my boys loved the ice skating and escape rooms that were literally right next to us. We highly recommend this place! We hope to be back soon when the weather is warmer.
