This hotel was about a block from the train station and extremely easy to get to from the airport. Many restraunt options are within walkable distance. The hotel and room were clean and very quiet. There was great water pressure and warm water in the shower. The bed was very comfortable.

Only one main complaint- the outside doors are locked at night, even at 10 pm and the only way in is to call the main Marriott reservation line and then get transfer. We were stuck outside during a thunderstorm with another family with a young child. Seems like having a person at the door or a key fab would be beneficial. Otherwise a very nice hotel for a reasonable price.

My room 2101 had 2 very visible carpet stains that were unappealing. Made me feel they didn’t take cleaning seriously

Front desk said happy hour was at 3 but we couldnt get a drink at all at the bar before our event upon return from our event we tried to get drinks at the bar upstairs they decided to close the bar early and we were turned away. In the future we will choose a different hotel we got a room downtown so we could drink and not worry about driving home.

The restauarant seemed understaffed, the turnover was a little half rushed (didn’t take out my trash one day) and the elevators were kind of wonky, but everything else was very nice. Rooms were clean and stylish, the bed was incredibly comfortable, it was well located for downtown Minneapolis, and the food at Bar Rufus and the drinks at Miao Miao were great.

This hotel was a short walk to US Bank Stadium. Check in was easy & fast. There was a bar/restaurant that was a little spendy but we liked the convenience of having it on site.

We stayed at The Rand because it is within walking distance of US Bank stadium and it is lovely! It feels art deco with beautiful modern touches. The ladies lobby bath has beautiful tile, artistic loon tile and gold fixtures. The elevators were clean and so is the lobby & bar. Everyone was so helpful. We valet parked our car. Our hotel room was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. The bathroom is beautiful with tile shower and elegant touches. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at Rand Tower were amazing - they went above and beyond for us. In room amenities were top notch. Loved Blondette for brunch and the gym was well appointed. Great location and well decorated!

Amazing place
I almost don’t want to give this a great review. It’s definitely a hidden gem. This is my second time staying here within two months. It’s smells so amazing when you first inter the hotel. The decor is very sexy/hip/adult. The staff is always pleasant. The rooms are very clean. Some of the rooms have vaulted cellings and an amazing views. I can’t say enough about my stay. Each time we try to venture out around the hotel. There are two store near if you need clothes, meds or snacks. Two liquor stores within walking distance if you need that sort of thing. The price is always right.

Meh….
This hotel nickel and dimes you for everything. I will not choose this hotel again next time we return to Minneapolis. It’s nice, and historic. But not even basic amenities are available. The restaurants are nice, but if you have a cold and would like a cup of soup, forget it.
