Ils m ont fait payer ma chambre.... Je pensais qu elle prenait ma carte comme le font certains hôtel pour une garantie de dommage... J attends encore le remboursement... ça devrait se régler... sinon tout est parfait

The hotel was ok, the room was good, plenty of space, comfortable bed. The issue we had was that they had a wedding there. They only told us 2 days before we stayed that the restaurant was shut and there was a wedding. We had to walk through the wedding guests to get to reception, the bar was packed with wedding guests. The party went on until 1am. The only good thing about the restaurant being shut was that we found a fantastic pub across the road, The Anchor. I would never stay at this hotel again, we felt cheated, but we would definitely go back to The Anchor

Average hotel that’s a bit expensive for what it is now. Property needs a big refurbishment. Rooms not sound proof in the slightest. Breakfast selection was poor given the price too. Premier Inn is a lot cheaper and nicer.

Easy stay
Quick night at hotel. Out in one of the cottages. Seemed fine. Bathrooms def need updating. Can’t change the temp on the shower.

One Night Stay
We were placed in room 62 in the old Aspley Building.We had to be moved to room 65 due to an horrendous periodic noise from the bathroom.Room 65 had secondary double glazing however the actual window was impossible to open & the TV had to be turned on & off at the socket.Room information was not up io date.

Stop over prior to early hospital appointment. Room was spacious and very comfortable. It was a cold winter evening but heating was excellent and we were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and there was no shortage of hot water for bath or shower. Breakfast was available for our early start and we both had full English. One of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel. Cooked and presented perfectly. Staff in all services bright and friendly.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We asked for a couple of items and they were immediately provided. Breakfast staff were very very busy but managed to serve with a smile , so well done.

A very nice hotel
Beautiful hotel in a lovely village. ALL the staff were so helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the "cottage rooms" the room was big and really nice. The bathroom had a shower & separate bath which was quite a treat, it was so hot in the bathroom (underfloor heating) which I couldn't see how to turn down. The bed and pillows weren't all that comfortable but that is the only slightly negative thing. I would definitely stay here again

Excellent service - had an issue that was dealt with brilliantly - thank you very much! Great night's sleep so booked another night the next morning. The area and building are fabulous - highly recommend a stay here.

Great stay.
We were made very welcome on our arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and had a lovely view of the garden. The food was great, especially the breakfast.

Overall this hotel is comfortable and what we needed for a 1 night stay but unfortunately the bathroom of both rooms we booked did not appear to have been cleaned properly, one had the previous occupants towel! The bed was comfortable and appeared to be clean.

A lovely converted building, which the cost for the room was good. The parking at the venue was plentiful. The room itself was basic and a bit tired looking, smelling a bit musty, although the bed was comfortable. The shower in the room we stayed in had only a luke warm temperature, which we did inform reception of. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. We were there 20 minutes before the end of breakfast, which was our pre booked slot. One member of staff seemed annoyed by this, as they were clearing away the tables around us, and were put out when we asked for a glass and cutlery. Overall not a bad stay. The location was lovely in the surrounding area.

Beautiful building inside and outside, exceptionally clean and comfortable, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. Dining room was lovely with fabulous view to outside garden and waterfall. Only con was you will need a car or to take taxis.

OK hotel for my needs
Been going to this hotel over many years and this was the first time back after about 3 years. The hotel is looking somewhat tired in places and my bathroom was in particular need of some re-freshening. Overall the hotel is OK for an overnight business stay

Hotel was great even though they mixed up my room with someone else they were able to give me another room, they said it was an upgrade but going from a cottage to room I wouldn't call that an upgrade, wasn't enough milk for coffees and the shower wasn't working properly! But for one night it was adequate

Breakfast was good thanks. Room could do with an update. My business colleague said his room (60) was not ideal with no room to move around the bed! Could only access from one side. My room (51) was OK, but certainly now needs an upgrade. Looking a bit tired, and for the price per night paid, expected a bit more. Staff all very friendly, check is was very slow, through no fault of the person on the desk.
