Welcome to the Delaware Beach's best kept secret: Millville by the Sea. Located only 5 miles from Bethany Beach, the Community of Millville by the Sea is an amenity-rich destination with unique villages that will immediately make you say, "I never want to leave." It's truly a special place, and a company favorite at Win-Le Vacation Rentals!

Located just up the street from the community's newest pool, this spacious single-story home features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 8 people. There is a full kitchen with quartz countertops, a fireplace in the living room, spacious bedrooms, a laundry room with a full-size washer & dryer, a beautiful patio with a fire pit & hot tub, and an attached garage.

You're also located next to the Beach Shuttle stop #12, which takes you right from the community to Bethany Beach. Instead of spending time fighting traffic and looking for parking near the beach, you can enjoy that much extra time with your toes in the sand, thanks to the shuttle! The shuttle runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10AM to 10PM beginning the 2nd week of June through Labor Day weekend. There's even an app to track the shuttle's location.

There are (4) TV's; the living room TV has cable. The bedroom TV's do not have cable, but they are Smart TV's with streaming ability.

General note: While many of our rental properties do not have cable packages on some or all TV's, they are usually equipped with HDMI ports for plug-in streaming devices (such as Amazon FireSticks or Roku sticks). While some TVs have built-in streaming services that do not require a plug-in device, we cannot guarantee this feature on all televisions and therefore we recommend if streaming content is important to you, that you bring your own streaming devices/sticks to be safe.

BEACH & OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT
The owner provides (8) beach chairs, (2) beach umbrella, (2) boogie boards, and (2) bikes for your enjoyment! Also provided is a corn hole game, (safe) axe throwing game, and a beach cooler. Condition and quantity are not guaranteed. If you'd like to rent beach bikes or other recreational equipment, please contact us and we will gladly refer you to local companies we recommend and trust.

This home has a gas grill. The owner provides 1 propane tank for your use and will pay to have it refilled during your stay. You must contact Win-Le Vacations if a refill is needed during your stay.

During your vacation at Millville by the Sea, you'll enjoy the Sand Dollar Pool, which includes a kids splash zone and even a designated lush lawn for sunbathing; a beach shuttle that takes you straight to Bethany Beach in the summer; a Fitness Center with everything you need to stay fit, from free weights to treadmills, and even group fitness and yoga classes; a BYOB clubhouse and pub, featuring a billiards table and Friday happy hours; sport courts to polish your bocce ball and pickleball skills; a Crab Shack with an outdoor kitchen for serving up your favorite shellfish, with a screened-in eating area to keep away those pesky flies while you enjoy your meal; parks and trails for taking in the coastal breeze as you hike through the community or nestle down for a family picnic; and last - but certainly not least - is the stunning Lake Summerwind, where you can cast a line from the fishing dock, or paddle around to watch the sunset in one of the community-provided kayaks.

Located only 5 miles from Bethany Beach and 10 miles from Fenwick Island - with Ocean City, MD just up the road - Millville by the Sea provides a tightknit sense of community, like a hidden paradise yet to be discovered... all while providing the hustle-and-bustle of summer beach life just around the corner.

Millville by the Sea charges $175 per week for your stay. Win-Le Vacation Rentals will collect this fee with your final payment and submit it to the community prior to arrival so we're able to obtain your parking permits and amenity bracelets in advance - one less stop you have to make!

DELAWARE SHORT-TERM RENTAL TAX
Delaware has imposed a short-term rental lodging tax at the rate of 4.5% of the rent upon every occupancy of a short-term rental within the State. This new tax went into effect on January 1, 2025. The tax applies to all short-term rentals in Delaware, including those listed on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo.

MISCELLANEOUS
Win-Le Vacation Rentals provides bed and bath linens for you. Your linen package includes: fitted sheets, top sheets, and pillowcases for all beds; 8 sets of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths; and 2 bathmats. Your linens will be delivered to the home prior to your arrival; you are responsible for putting the linens on the beds. You are also responsible for bagging the linens at the end of your stay and leaving them outside the residence for pick-up after your departure.

Win-Le also provides a Starter Kit with all rentals. Your Starter Kit includes (1) roll of paper towels, (2) rolls of toilet paper, (1) 3oz bottle of dish soap, (1) dish sponge, (1) reusable/disposable dish cloth, (2) dishwasher pods, (2) laundry pods, (1) 2-in-1 travel size shampoo/conditioner, (1) mini bar soap, (2) 13gal kitchen trash bags, (2) 4gal bathroom/wastebasket trash bags, (1) tube travel size toothpaste, (1) travel size hand lotion, and (1) travel size hand sanitizer. You are responsible for providing any additional toiletries, soap, and paper products as needed.

Win-Le Vacation Rentals does not charge guests for housekeeping. The owner of your rental property pays to have it cleaned before and after your arrival. Prompt departure at the end of your stay is vital in the scheduling of these cleanings.

The maximum occupancy is 8 people.

Occupants must utilize all available private parking (garage, driveway) before using any available street parking.

No pets, smoking, vaping, or events are allowed.

Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

You will receive your digital arrival packet via email 5 days prior to arrival. This email will contain important information like your door code and community rules. It is your responsibility to notify Win-Le Vacation Rentals if you have not received your door code prior to your arrival. A hard copy of the arrival packet, and other important information, will be provided inside the home during your stay.

Check-in is 3PM and check-out is 10AM. This is non-negotiable. Your access codes for the property will activate and deactivate precisely at these times; occupancy outside these timeframes without express permission from Win-Le Vacation Rentals is considered unlawful trespassing. We do not offer the ability to pay for early check-in or late check-out. Win-Le Vacation Rentals will contact you directly the day of your arrival if your property is available for an early check-in at no additional cost to you; this is our standard practice and you do not need to contact us to opt-in to it.

Amazing Week at Breakwater Vista

Our family of 6 (kids ages 18-24) had an amazing vacation at Breakwater Vista. Along with the community amenities, the outdoor living of this home did not disappoint. From the morning shade, to evening sunsets over the pond, and a few dips in the hot tub, a lot of time was spent on the patio. Some of the amenities most frequented include the endless community walking paths, Peninsula Lap Pool, clubhouse gym, and pickle ball courts with the locals. Being a beach family, this was the furthest we have ever been from the beach. But the beach shuttle was so convenient and perfect. It made the commute easy and painless. And we definitely took advantage of the beach chairs and umbrellas. The home decor was great and the interior amenities were top notch. The only feedback I could give is we had a little trouble with the toaster and our homemade sourdough bread. Thanks for an amazing week!!! We need a second week now to do all the things we weren't able to fit in. We would 100% stay in this home again.
