« We arrived at the room and found that the bedding was stained and there was hair in the bedding. The floors had not been cleaned and we refused to stay there. The listing also lists a washer and dryer...there are no washer and dryer. We asked for a refund and owner refused. »

« Harriet is a wonderful host, helping me with the smallest of enquiries before our group of 12 people arrived.All the beds and rooms where comfortable and the sitting room was a delight to keep the woodburner company in the evenings with a plentiful wood supply.The sun shone for our stay and we saw hares on the front lawn. The wellingtonia trees where magnificent to see.We hope to be back. »

« The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder. These things are not expensive to install. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty when...

« Fabulous flat in Edinburgh. Easy walking distance to the heart of the city but outside of the hustle, bustle and noise. Great restaurants located just around the corner and a fully equipped kitchen if you wish to cook at home. Rooms were well appointed and the beds were so comfortable. Thanks for a great place to stay in the heart of Edinburgh. »
