Upon arrival, the entryway walk to the lobby smelled like marijuana. I walked into the lobby and was greeted with friendliness. He was to the point and had me checked in rather quickly. I drove around to get to my room and saw a pickup parking in the back that looked like it had been there for a while. It had been broken into and had flat tires. Maybe a police ram. It wasn't good. Liter and cigarette buds all over the ground. I was seriously rethinking this location choice. The previous reviews made it seem like a decent spot. I entered the room, and someone had been smoking in this nonsmoking room. It was very strong. There was dirt and build-up all over the floor. Crumbs in the sitting chair were very obvious. Walking up to the bed, I noticed that the duvet was soiled or stained, maybe, but it was gross. The white sheets were in the same condition but had hair all over them. It appeared like someone slept in it and made it back up. The bathroom sink was clean. I have stayed at some tremendous red-roof locations and love them, but this one was pretty rough.

Not a happy stay
The hotel is in need of upgrading. Yes there was building construction going on; however the rooms need upgrading also. The room smelled of smoke, the window curtains were old and had burn holes in them, the flooring was worn, stained and water damaged. The shower continued to run, could not turn off water all the way. Bath tiles were missing along the sides of the tub, tile below faucet was loose and covered in black mold, tub was stained, rusty and moldy. Shower curtain was stained, moldy, and had paint on it. The bedding was very thin, had holes, and stained; no blankets were provided, just a top sheet, older thin bedspread and then another bedspread on top. The platform bed did not hold the mattress in place, it kept sliding off.

We had an unfortunate experience with an Airbnb place, and we had to leave in the middle of the night. It was very bad, and we are not picky. I was able to get right in with Red Roof Inn, and check in with ease and at 1:30 in the morning everyone was kind and courteous and helpful and empathetic.

After working all day then driving 4 hours. This is the worse Red Roof I’ve ever been in. The outside was not kept up. There was Huge holes in parking lot. Entered room and the smell of bug spray hit me in my throat. Proceed to go over the room as I do with all! First pulled the sheets back. Why do they put this even on beds. Stains on sheets and comforter. Then to pull all the way back to mattress that has stains all over! The room had lint and dirt in corners. Shower area was not cleaned. 1 of the towels had a huge stain. Needless to say stepped back out and brought front desk to room. Asked if he would sleep here. His reply was No. The bug spray smell flared my Asthma up. Moved to a Hotel ended up having to pay even more due to me getting on site last mint again to find a place to go. Peace while sleeping is important to me. Be careful if you stay there. I wouldn’t let the chickens outside stay there.

Stay was okay.
I booked the place based on price and photos. The photos looked fine based on the price but when we pulled up, it made sense why it was a lower price. The room rank of cig smoke, the bed cover had holes all over it, and there were stink bugs everywhere. The service was good and the staff was all very nice.

The room had a very musty smell and the floor was dirty behind the bathroom door. Telephone and alarm clock were not plugged in. There was a coffee maker but no pot, I asked for one but was told not all rooms had a pot and just get coffee in lobby. The lady at the desk was very nice.

Good place for the price
It looks kinda sketchy from the outside but the rooms are kept clean. I had the king suite and it was clean and comfy. I would stay there again.
