No internet working. No cleaning service. We came from the beach on our second day at that hotel and the cleaning lady dropped 2 towels but the cleaning was not done WORST, she left the door of our room open and nobody was there!!!!! The lobby smell sooo bad. If you have more budget choose another hotel!

At any time during your stay, you may stop by the front desk to request additional items such as towels or amenities. We ask that guests let the staff know of any dissatisfaction, during your stay, so we can address it and correct it, to improve your experience. We appreciate your feedback.

Pour le prix payé, on ne peut pas en demander plus. L’hôtel est vétuste, les chambres sont petites et mal isolées. Il y a de gros problèmes d’humidité et cela sent mauvais. Un dépôt de 200 USD (2 nuits) a été pris sur la carte de crédit et il a fallu plusieurs messages et mails pour qu’il soit libéré après 1 semaine… Pas de petit-déjeuner. L’hôtel est très bien situé, à 200 mètres de Ocean Drive. La literie est très confortable.

Hello Florian, thank you for your review. We are warm year-round in Miami, so the humidity is usually high, which may cause a scent, so for this we keep the A/C on and circulating at all times. We're disappointed you did not have a better time, but we appreciate all guest feedback.

Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel, sale, infesté de cafard, on se sent pas du tout en sécurité, pas de réception à chaque fois qu il y a un problème il faut traverser la rue pour aller à l’hotel en face, on a demandé à changer de chambre mais dans la nouvelle il y avait aussi des cafard, ensuite nous avons demandés à voir le manager, Amanda a pris en compte notre réclamation et nous a mis dans un autre hôtel nous avons été upgrade dans l hôtel Lily très bel appartement de 2 chambres avec douche et baignoire, rien à voir avec le Shelley propre et sécurisé. Nous avons aussi eu à notre arrivée une taxe de séjour de l hôtel de 159$, alors qu expédia disait que le prix incluait les taxe, donc je vous conseille de prévoir un budget taxe. Suite au désagrément Amanda nous a remboursé 4 jours de taxe de séjour. Hôtel Shelley à fuir, je ne comprends pas comment expédia peut proposer un hôtel comme celui ci a ses clients c est une honte.

Our housekeeping staff takes pride in keeping our establishment up to the highest standards, so we will need to share your review with our staff for further clarification. Our General Manager is professional and will make our guests feel as comfortable as possible during their stay. Hotel correct juste derrière ocean drive. Attention pas d'ascenseur, donc compliqué si on est au 2e étage avec des valises énormes. L'enregistrement s'est fait dans l'hôtel chesterfield en face, inhabituel comme pratique.

Hotel très bien situé
Super séjour. Arrivé à 22 il y avait le concierge et bagagiste. On s'est garé devant (15 min autorisée ),nous ont pris nos bagages et amené à la chambre. Chambre propre et bien décoré mais sen un peu l'humidité . Super bien situé dans le quartier art deco pour visiter, sortir, aller à la plage et faire les magasins. Navette gratuite pour repartir a l'aeroport ( demander la veille pour les heures).

To start, lady at the reception was very rude to us when we tried to express our displeasure with having to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up at reception desk. Then they put us in the first room right next to the lobby where they had loud music and parties until 3 AM almost every night of our stay. For 3 out of 5-day stay we did not have hot water and our room was cleaned only 2 times in 5 days.

The hotel has no elevator so you have to walk up flights of stairs there isn’t anyone at the front desk or any service staff available when you need things like towels and or ice, so I just kept going behind a bargain it myself

We needed to switch rooms as the shower and tv were both not functioning properly. The second room shower and toilet were also not functioning properly. Just an inconvenience for my family stay.

To begin with there is no check in desk at the property.There is a bar in the main lobby that opens at 5pm and will remain open well past 2am if there are clients.I had to contact the hotel to request a room upgrade prior to the trip but it was not easy.If you call the main hotel Shelley no one answers the phone if you contact the hotel management group by phone they make you email them and it takes them more than 24 hours to respond.When I finally arrived for check in I got to my room on the first floor a few doors away from the bar and the room was stuffy and moist and had an odor of mold.The air conditioner was not working and just pushed around the bad air.Any time it would turn on there was little bugs flying in the room, I tried to give it a pass because we’re near the ocean but as the days progressed the moisture level and odor in the room increased.I woke up extremely congested every morning and essentially wet because of how damp it was in the room.On the 3rd night of the stay I requested a room change the hotel employee came into the room to make sure that the room indeed was as I had stated and before walking into the room she noticed and said oh yes I’ll put in a request for room change but there was nothing they could do for the night.The following morning we were changed to a room on the 3rd floor and it turned out that the hotel does not have any visible elevator access so we had to carry our bags up.Requesting refund they offered an insulting $100.

Good place to stay if you’re just looking for a place to pass out and shower right on South Beach around everything you need could walk to adjust about everywhere hotel did have a little musty smell to it but me and my friend stayed for a weekend for her birthday and we had a good time And it did suffice for what we needed a place to crash and a place to shower I’m from New York so to me, the hotel was average

LA POSIZIONE NON BASTA
Posizione centralissima su Collins avenue, struttura art decò carina, ma a parte questo il nulla: servizio inesistente, camere sporche (tra l’altro vengono rifatte ogni 3 notti) e fatiscenti, puzza di muffa e niente ascensore. Proprio no!

Staff were friendly and efficient, quick check in process! Although you had to check in across the street, and the day we checked in it was very busy party night so the music was way too loud and made it hard to hear the staff.

Convenient, close to Ocean Drive with lots of restaurants and access to the beach. Quiet and clean, very friendly staff. The only negative is no luggage storage and early check out at 11am (I was able to extend by 1 hour without extra charge)

Cheap but really should be cheaper
There is no elevator at this hotel, so if you are staying on the third floor, you have to bring all your luggage up the stairs on your own. They do not offer help with luggage. You have to check in at the hotel across the street and anything you need from Staff you have to contact them across the street. at one point our hot water wasn't working, and I was calling for 15 minutes and they didn't answer, so I had to get dressed and go across the street to talk to them. When I told them that I was calling for 15 minutes, they said they don't answer the phone if they are checking someone in. The hotel room is very old, the doors do not align so they are visible cracks to peek into the room. That being said there is no sound for thing so you can hear everything that happens in the hallway. There are no curtains to block out the light from outside blinds so it is very bright all through the night because the neighbors lights are on all night. The hot water in the shower is installed incorrectly, so you have to learn the trick to get the hot water to work, which is illogical to most people. In the end, I would not stay here. I would pay $40 more to go stay at a normal hotel or you can have a hot shower and sleep in peace.
