I was satisfied with my stay at the Rodeway in Media. It's an older facility showing a bit of wear, but it was clean and well maintained. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. My room was large, comfortable, and clean (but I did suggest on checkout that the shower curtain needs cleaning or replacement). There's no included breakfast. There is a neighboring Mexican restaurant open for lunch and dinner. There's not much else in the immediate area (a gas station and a fast food place), but the motel is fine for a traveler's overnight stop.

When we arrived, the Mexican restaurant had a live band and the food was outstanding. Great find on a road trip.

The pool area was closed The reason we booked here was that they had a pool and hot tub. I wouldnt have booked here otherwise. The carpet the the room is terrible. Stained and dirty Needs replacing badly.

There is a great little Mexican restaurant in the frint of the property (walking distance) and they have live music on Friday nights. This makes for a very enjoyable evening without having to drive.

I read some bad reviews of this property, but I found the place to be very decent. Yes, it is old, but our room was clean and the staff was helpful. For the price, it was well worth it.

The rooms are filthy!! Carpets have stains. There was about 20 strains of hairs on the white sheets when we pulled the covers back.. and the room smells

I appreciated the price being lower and the cost per dog being $10. The bed was ok, but I got the feeling the sheets were not changed from the previous person as it looked a bit disheveled. The towels were thin, small and had musty smell. The thermostat did not work as I tried to put the fan only on, and also tried the ac, neither worked. Heat would come on. Only dining option in the area was Burger King. The hotel had a bar and breakfast, but I didn’t try either.

Cigarette burns in the blankets. Floor was so filthy I wouldn’t set my child down. Immediately checked out and found another hotel. Do not recommend this place

Cheap place for a stop over. Place needs a serious overhaul or to be torn down. Breakfast is offered. It’s something to put in your stomach and they have coffee so that helps.

The Rodeway is near my hometown so when I visit, it's the most logical place to stay. It might not be the same quality as it once was, but my recent 3-night stay will not keep me from staying there next time. Housekeeping is still very good.

Very nice front desk staff. Actual breakfast with actual food. Room smelled like a crypt. Maybe from an old flood or something? Had a pretty nasty headache before I left the next morning. Plenty of space to park a rig.

This is a cheap hotel. You are booking this hotel because it's next to the highway. If you're staying more than 12 hours, don't do it here. Everything in my room was stained (including dried blood on the comforter), and it didn't smell great. I made sure my luggage didn't touch any fabric surface. But I slept fine and wasn't murdered, which is about all I was asking for at this price point. The attached restaurant was ok. So, temper your expectations. You'll get a cheap, dirty room, at a cheap price. If you want a new, pristine hotel with amenities, this isn't for you.

No! Don't stay here!
Zero Stars! We checked in and checked out 15 minutes later. Filthy! Bodily fluids on the comforter, yes it was exactly what you are thinking. Feces on the toilet, floors very dirty and had not been vacuumed. Stains on carpet and chair upholstery. Hallways stunk of marijuana. I would rather sleep in my car. The front desk worker was super nice about giving us our money back though, so that was good. It is an inexpensive hotel, so I was expecting it to be pretty basic or even a bit run down, but it should have at least been clean.

Smelled like smoke all throughout property. Our door didn't lock and they didnt have another room to give us. When we weren't in room our valuables unsecured. Staff was very friendly and courteous but just couldnt help us with our issue.

Although they let us check out a day early at no charge when we booked for 2 days, the rooms really need some upgrades. Rooms are very spacious but there is an old smell. They could use some painting, and getting rid of stained carpeting. Shower curtain could use replacement.

Staff were awesome , check in and out easy, wonderful choices for breakfast. My only issue is the hot tub was not hot and the hallways spelled of stale cigarette smoke( probably from years gone by.) Even our room had a similar Oder. I am alley to cigarette smoke and woke up and spent the day with symptoms.

I asked for room 153 because it held special memories for me. It was quite evident that someone had been smoking in the room. A key and cigarette butts were outside Door D. I asked for non-smoking!!!
