« A lovely early 20th century hotel, well kept and in a very quiet neighborhood. It felt like I had traveled in time for one day. Breakfast was honest and served in a large authentic gathering space. The view on the bay was appreciated during the evening while having a ( forbidden) brew on the patio by the hill. Owners are professionals and know how to give some directions during your stay. »

« We are familiar with the town of Pictou and love visiting there but when we arrived, we expected to be staying at an inn with suites (which is what Expedia stated) but it was actually a motel. Apparently four or five accommodation properties in Pictou are under the business heading Dolan’s Inn and Suites, which was confusing and caused us to question. The other properties appeared updated, at least from the outside, but our initial reaction as we arrived at the motel was that it needed quite a...
