« Amazing stay, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and en-suite. The lodge is detached from a large house but there is dedicated access and the location is perfect! Just round the corner from Heaton Park, which is a lovely bonus. If you want some autonomy and the ability to cook, this is fantastic, one of the best stays I have had and I travel a lot. »

« Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there. »

« Yes and clean inside few marks on floor bathroom had an odour to it but ok! Outside was unkempt could have been more attracting but the room was fine for our needs »

« This is a really lovely place to stay.Very clean, quite,cosy with a real fire.From the windows you get a lovely view of the gardens.Holmfirth is just a 20 minute walk.Hosts were very helpful.Would we go back? YES. »
