Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. Really pleased with the stay

Being able to view our gorgeous kangaroo population as they graze in the morning and later in the day is such a joy and brings so many smiles to our guests' faces. Absolutely loved staying here in the 2 bedroom cottage for the weekend. It was difficult to find the cottage as there were no signs to state which cottage was what until you drive around the back and see the sign or the number of the cottage. The beds are so comfortable! The breakfast pack was very generous to have some staples to start off with. Amenities all through the house were good apart from not having a tea towel. The mini bar had a good range to choose from also. The shower could've been cleaned more thoroughly but overall, would stay again!

Water pressure
Just fell in love with the Yering Gorge Cottages. Everything was perfect except the water pressure. Taking a shower and washing your hair can be risky.

Kangaroos around you. Very quiet and relaxing place with BBQ and good kitchen. My son left his earphones when we checked out and the maid found and left it at the reception for us. Wish we had booked more nights on our trip at this property.

the views were amazing, the room was lovely, but the roller blinds in the bedroom and lounge room didn't roll down, woke very early in the morning :(

Spacious cottages in a beautiful surroundings and with loads of kangaroos in the grounds. The cottages were spaced out so you couldn't hear your neighbours.

It's been a very cold winter in the Yarra Valley with sub-zero temperatures on several occasions. The fireplace is beautiful to sit in front of but we do recommend that our guests also use the reverse cycle air conditioner to keep the entire cottage warm; and use the electric blankets to ensure a warm bed when it's time to sleep. We're delighted that you enjoyed watching our beautiful wildlife and hope to welcome you back again soon.

I booked 2 King bed rooms but what was given to me was 1 king bed room and 2 single beds room. The thrash wasn't emptied daily so if you have a lot of thrash, it just piles up and I think the kangaroos were eyeing the food in our thrash.

Dear Joshua, Please accept our sincere apologies that your bedding configuration was set up incorrectly for your arrival - our team would have been very happy to rectify this for you had we known. Thank you for your constructive feedback regarding our rubbish collection protocols. Our housekeeping team do check each of the cottages' external rubbish bins regularly - also ensuring the lids are secured to prevent any of our wildlife accessing any rubbish that is disposed of inbetween. We will follow up with our team regarding these protocols - the protection of our beautiful wildlife is one of our highest priorities.
