Your Stay

The Wood offers the flexibility of being booked as either a one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartment, depending on the number of guests.

Choose the one bedroom configuration for a more intimate stay, or enjoy the full two bedroom apartment when travelling with friends, family, colleagues or as a small group.

The apartment is bright, open plan and thoughtfully furnished, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout. The apartment has a personal character and sense of comfort that you simply don’t find in a typical short term rental.

Beautiful locally handmade decorative lighting adds warmth, personality and a distinctive touch throughout the apartment.

Relax & Unwind

The open-plan kitchen and living area is the heart of The Wood an inviting space to cook, dine, relax and spend time together.

The dining table comfortably seats four, while the kitchen bench seats two and doubles as a convenient workspace. There’s no dedicated desk, but the bench sits beside the cosy sofa area, making it an easy place to work, read or catch up on a few emails.

Each bedroom features a comfortable firm queen-size bed, spacious built-in wardrobes and a luggage stand.

Freshly laundered bed linen and towels are provided for every stay, with spare cotton blankets available for extra comfort.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

Whether you’re preparing a quick breakfast or settling in for dinner, the kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Facilities include a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.

We also provide a selection of everyday essentials including milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, butter, spreads and cooking oil, so you can arrive, settle in and feel at home from the moment you walk through the door.

Bathroom & Laundry

The modern bathroom features a shower and toilet, with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.

For added convenience, you’ll also find shower caps, toothbrushes, razors and sanitary bags.

The separate laundry is fully equipped for both short and extended stays, with a washing machine, dryer, drying rack, pegs, laundry detergent.

Stay connected throughout your visit with high-speed Wi-Fi, a Smart TV with soundbar and a compact Bose Bluetooth speaker.

Both bedrooms feature wireless magnetic charging stations for phones, Apple Watches and AirPods.

The charging stations use magnetic charging technology, so compatible magnetic cases or accessories may be required.
