The Neighborhood:

Capel Sound is a small suburb located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, situated between Tootgarook and Rosebud overlooking Port Phillip Bay. From Capel Sound you’ll find all the Mornington Peninsula sights are only a short drive away, including beautiful ocean and bay beaches, nature walks, the Peninsula Hot Springs, golf courses and wineries. Capel Sound foreshore is a great place to go swimming, you might also like to take a stroll along the picturesque beach dotted with colourful beach boxes. From the Melbourne CBD, it’s about a 1 hour and 15-minute drive to Capel Sound.
