While I really liked the house, the cleanliness left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we found that the toilets were not cleaned at all, the floors were dirty and seemed to have been mopped with dirty water (our socks were testament to that), the shower had a buildup of soap scum, and the gas stove was covered in oil. Additionally, some of the cutlery and dishes were not properly cleaned and should be checked before guests arrive. The BBQ was filthy, and I definitely didn't feel comfortable using it. The storage cupboard in the main bathroom contained what looked like used sheets and other miscellaneous house items. We weren't sure if they were used or not, it might be better to lock the cupboard if guests are not meant to see these items. For the cleaning service fee of 277, I expected better, and that component was certainly not as described, and I feel I should be refunded.On a separate note, it was my mistake for not reading the entry instructions carefully but having a lock box on the main entry point that did not hold the keys and should not be used was confusing. It is the first thing you see when you arrive, and I suggest removing it from that location to avoid future confusion.That being said the house was great for entertaining and had large living areas and outdoor spaces, these were a big plus. The bedrooms were setup nicely - though they have firm beds which are not for me.

Inside was perfect. Location was great. Inside was clean. Outside lacked attention. Outside had not been attended for months. Animal faeces not cleaned , fence fallen down not allowing vehicle parking.lacked care and general maintenance and tidiness.

The property itself was lovely however we arrived to find it was not cleaned or had the linen changed over. It was not a great start to our holiday, and I should have picked up on the red flag when shortly after booking I was asked by the property manager, "can you let us know what dates you have requested because I can't see it on your booking". We were asked to find a hotel for our first night and come back for the second, which was not a great response. After over an hour on the chat support and phone support, the best outcome was a full refund, which I am still waiting on. Luckily we were able to find a wonderful home with another provider who could accommodate us at short notice.
