Beautiful lakefront cottage within minutes of sand dunes and Lake Michigan

Come together with friends and family to create lasting memories at our cottage on Upper Silver Lake. Enjoy peaceful mornings on the deck overlooking the lake, and fun adventures on the water during the day. We are conveniently close to Silver Lake Sand Dunes and Lake Michigan for added fun!

Our newly renovated cottage is situated on beautiful Upper Silver Lake on a large half acre lot. The main floor has a full kitchen, living room, dining area within the kitchen, and two bedrooms. One queen bedroom, and a twin bunk bed room as well as a full bathroom with shower/tub combo. Walk out the sliders to a covered wrap around deck with comfortable patio furniture as well as an outdoor dining table to seat 6. Relax and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails .

The downstairs basement walks out to a patio with a patio set to lounge in the shade. The lower level features 3 bedrooms; one king room, one queen room, and one twin bunk bed room. There is also another full bathroom with shower. The lower level also has a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Propane grill available for use.

Then make your way down to the water which features a large composite deck with numerous Adirondack chairs, and huge sandy beach area. You will have access to the shed at the deck to store your water toys, life jackets or any other lake equipment you might have during your stay. Within the shed is a mini fridge to keep your drinks chilled during those warm sunny Michigan days. After a fun filled day; relax at night by the fire pit.

You will also have access to your own private dock in the water and use of a manual boat lift if you choose to bring a small to midsized speed boat or fishing boat. If you choose not to use the lift, you are welcome to tie your boat to the dock. There is also a floating raft to enjoy in the water.

With plenty of choices from relaxation to numerous activities in the area, you will surely enjoy your week at our cottage! Visit beautiful Lake Michigan and see the stunning Little Sable Point Lighthouse. Or take your 4x4 through the vast Silver Lake Sand Dunes or find a rental through one of the many companies in the area. With just a short drive, you will find yourself at a relaxed golf course where you can enjoy 18 holes and a pizza and drink after on their deck.

We allow up to two small to medium sized dogs for an additional fee.

Wonderful Family Getaway—We’d Absolutely Stay Again!

I stayed at this house for a week in July with my two young kids (1.5 and 4 years old) and five adults. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return!The listing is accurate, and although I initially worried the indoor space might feel tight, it turned out to be just right for our group. The covered porch was a favorite spot—we used it daily for meals and relaxing out of the sun.Inside, the AC unit at the top of the stairs kept the house comfortable during a couple of hot days, and the bedroom fans helped us sleep well. Later in the week, when temperatures cooled to the mid-70s, we barely needed the AC—it was lovely!The outdoor space by the lake was ideal for our needs. The sand pit and abundance of sand toys were a hit with the kids. We enjoyed fishing from the dock—my daughter caught so many small fish (her first time fishing!) that it’s now her new favorite activity. Both kids loved splashing in the shallow lake area near the dock, which was about 18–30 inches deep with a sandy bottom and some plants. It was perfect for little ones with adult supervision. The paddle boats were a fun bonus and a cool way to explore the lake! The variety of lifejackets provided made it easy for everyone to join in safely.Alisha, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful with our questions about the internet and the grill. She was accommodating and kind throughout our stay.Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Great fit for our family this year.

Our family gathering was too large for one cabin. This suited us well as the second unit.The kitchen seemed well equipped though inside seating at the table is limited.The bedrooms are decent size and allowed for our family to have some space.Nice lake access for fishing but bring your own water toys.

Better Than the Pictures!

Our group of 4 adults and 3 kids were very happy with the space setup and layout of the home. Beautiful lakefront property. Too bad so cold during our stay, but hopefully we can return to enjoy the home in warm weather too! Thank you for sharing this space!

Couldn’t ask for better hosts!

This place was perfect for our group of 10 - a bed for everyone, 2 bathrooms, and space to spread out. The location is convenient for dune access. A few things popped up during our stay, but nothing that the hosts didn’t go above & beyond to make right. They are fantastic and we hope to stay again another time!

Beautiful Lake House-quiet and inviting

We enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. Very comfortable home, quiet and serene setting on a small lake. Great patio for relaxing. Even made burgers on the grill! We had everything we needed. Great experience.

Cute Cottage

This cottage was very cute. Lots of space. Very comfortable beds. In fact the most comfortable I've stayed in! The ceiling fan in the room on the main floor was quite squeaky when on, luckily I found a stand fan in another room. The views were beautiful at night. Full view of the stars! The only thing that I wasn't found of was having to bring the garbage to the road in the bin and having to start laundry before I leave. It's not a huge thing but with all the fees I paid for this booking, I'd expect not to be doing "housework" like this. Dishes yes. All in all it was a lovely property.

Excellent stay!

Loved this cute house and the location to activities. The house had everything we needed and more. Especially loved that my teens could be on the lower level, and I could stay on the upper level. Everyone had their own space. The beach was my absolute favorite and got to enjoy some relaxing time there. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
