Reception staff were excellent! Very friendly and helpful. Easy to walk to many restaurants and important sites. The site lists continental breakfast but it was much more than that.

Liked: The staff was excellent - everyone from the front desk personnel to the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. They are the hotel's most valuable asset. Room was reasonable. Disliked: The jacuzzi - tub was stained and very difficult to get into for a shower. The artificial greenery was all over the place and too much for cleaning staff to cope with - very dusy leaves! This at least you can solve easily - get rid of them! They were old and unattractive at best. Bathroom tiles chipped and broken.

It’s an old property that could use some updating. When the train went by the whole floor vibrated! The toilet ran all time and the guests c pap machine sounded like dark Vader because of thin walls. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was mediocre.

We love staying at the French Quarter Inn! Maysville is a great place to visit and we enjoy staying at the Inn. The river views from the rooms are amazing! Lots of places to eat within walking distance or a short drive. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit!

We wanted a downtown location with a river view. We got that. The room was comfortable. There is a rail line behind the hotel, but it was not a problem.

We stay at The French Quarter in every time we're in Maysville, and we come back because of the location, cleanliness, comfort, and friendliness of staff. While not the fanciest hotel, the property is updated as needed and provides all the amenities we need.

Beautiful lobby and rooms. Staff was very kind and helpful . Our room was clean, but all windows on property could use thorough cleaning- really nasty! Very limited breakfast. Good location.

Disappointed for the money we paid for the room that there was nothing to do within the hotel. The bar was not open. There was no entertainment. For us it was boring. If you are simply looking for a place to sleep I would rethink the cost. We were anticipating more.

Quaint hotel we stayed at pre-Covid. It is very walkable to shopping and dining options. There was no type of breakfast offered this visit, but a couple of walkable options were recommended by the staff. However, the condition of our room was not as expected this trip. The room in general was looking very worn, including walls, ceiling, tub. The heat/ac source had unreadable numbers, so I had to guess on the temp and just adjust up and down. I was told they were aware of this. The bathroom fan was terribly noisy. They only had a handful of guests that night, but the room seemed like it was a third floor "spare" room. Other than the pleasant staff and walkability, I doubt we'd stay there again if all the rooms were like that.

Very nice and well kept for older building. Nice room the huge tub was a surprise. Clean, comfy. Since its an older building there are chips in the tile, little rough here and there but thats to be expected- normal wear and tear. A little mold/dirt on tub mat but washed it off. The tile floor was a bit cold for December but i had slippers. Overall i would definitely stay again much better than some of the other choices in the area.

Carol checked us in on our first stay which was on the evening of 10/30. We were so impressed by her efficiency, helpfulness and friendliness that we decided to stop at your hotel again, on our next trip through Maysville which was on 11/27. It was a pleasure to find her at your front desk again. She makes us feel that she truly appreciates our patronage and we are welcome - qualities that we find are in short supply these days. She is a great ambassador for your establishment! Our room was comfortable and clean and we will return any time we are in town. Breakfast would be a great addition!
