« Perfectly situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Floyd! The host is delightful and the property is a slice of heaven looking out over a quiet meadow! I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare. The Parkway is close and fun to take a relaxing drive doen yo Mabry mill. All in all a plus 5 on all accounts! »

« My senior citizen parents and I had a wonderful stay at Susana and Sean's lovely apartment in Floyd! The location was very convenient to downtown Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Their walk out basement apartment home is situated on a hill in a quiet neighborhood and as pictured. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, very comfortable. Any items you would need if you forget them were provided, such as chargers, umbrellas, flashlight, etc. We cooked most of our meals -- the kitchen is...

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The unit was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished. We had everything we needed! It is in a great location and within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Highly recommended !(Just an FYI - parking is across the street and we did not see an elevator. Maybe we missed it? This was no problem for us, but might be an issue for those with mobility issues.) »

« I liked that the property was right in town. Walkable to all shops and restaurants. Was very clean and modern looking. I stayed in the downstairs unit because I had my dog with me and that was the only unit I could choose. I felt like I was in the basement. Was very dark and musty smelling. They had a dehumidifier going but was very noisy and some other machine going in the washer dryer closet. Also no TV in the bedroom. I went to make coffee and opened the lid and a spring and piece fell off so...

10/10 Excellent

"Fabulous! It is so rare to find a spotlessly clean, affordable motel nowadays, let alone a place with a personality, instead of the identical rooms of chain motels. Our room was remodeled with taste: lovely hardwood floors, pretty lamps, an original painting of a mountain, super convenient clothes and towel hangers on beautiful wooden boards, and a real double shower curtain. We enjoyed a very peaceful 3-day family stay: it was wonderful to sit outside on the pretty old-fashioned wrought iron chairs with a book and cup of coffee. The fridge with a separate freezer door was very much appreciated, as well as the microwave and coffee maker. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the motel is located just off the Blue ridge parkway: very convenient for access to hikes, bluegrass music events and delicious home cooking. The place to go!"
