« The room we were given was not what we booked. When asked for the room we booked we were shown an incredibly run down version of it in a building that was undergoing repairs so we opted for the room they initially assigned. It costs $50000 UGX to get a ride to town so we felt a bit trapped but I’m sure people accustomed to resorts are used to this. « Enjoyed the beautiful greenery. The rooms had a view and were quite spacious. Getting to the hotel was wonderful because it was late and they greeted me with juice. Laundry was included which was a bonus. Food could be more flavourful »

« 2 things i didn't like. -The pressure of the shower was too low and the water was cold. -Internet is up and down. The breakfast is homemade and fresh. « The team was Amazing. The manager Denis was so helpful, Kind and did everything over and above to make up for the mistakes made by Expedia in advance. We arrived in Entebbe around 11pm. Myself, my wife and my 1 year old son passed 3 hours circulating into the city trying to find the Hotel. In the booking confirmation message I received from Expedia stated “Plot 4 Kamuli Road, Entebbe, Ouganda” as the location/address of the hotel. After spending hours and $46 USD. « This was a comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast served in a pleasant patio area. Showers worked fine, and sitting outside on the balcony was nice. The location is an easy walk to Victoria Mall or the bus park to get a cheap ride into Kampala. »

« I never normally leave reviews however the team outdid themselves during my stay. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I mistakenly left important documents at the hotel which could not be replaced easily. Doreen went out of her way to ensure i had copies of these sent over within an hour or realising and going to find them in the hotel. Doreen, i cant thank you enough for your help and awesome service. Will definitely stay again, thank you team Admas »

« Gately is a quaint hotel that is always enjoyable. The staff are courteous, professional and attentive but not annoying. The facility itself is a bit nostalgic and unique, and along with that comes aging plumbing and electrical supply problems. You will enjoy Gately, particularly the staff, but expect a bit older amenities. »
