An authentic Maushop cottage. A short walk to the private beach at Maushop and walk to the Market place where u can get the famous Raw Bar lobster roll or drive to Mashpee Commons Completely renovated with new AC, new furniture and appliances and outside patio with a Weber Grill. Views of Nantucket Sound that is just down the street. completely renovated and first time available to rent in over 40 years. Very clean wide plank flooring and great sun rooms.

What a disappointing rental

Dirty sheets/ stains in the second bedroom; filthy/ soiled arm rests on the LR armchair; similarly filthy sofa in LR; as a result LR unusable; light switches in bathroom caked in dirt; toilet constantly running; towel holder badly repaired; These defects were communicated to the owner and vrbo together with supporting photos. And were essentially ignored. Altogether an outrageous inattention to basic cleanliness and hygiene manifested throughout the property.

Great little place for visiting the Cape

This house was absolutely perfect for a week-stay on the Cape. The neighborhood was quiet, and the beach was just a few houses away, visible from couch in the living room. The house was clean and comfortable with most everything needed for our stay The property loses one star because there is some unfinished work in the house. One of the bedframes was really loose, but the host was able to come by and tighten it up. The bathroom is missing the towel rack and the wall where it was removed hasn't been repaired yet, and the downstairs bedroom closet needs some repairs. These issues did not directly affect our stay and will probably be fixed up before the next renters, but they need to be noted.

A Perfect retreat

Really cute house in the wonderful, charming neighborhood of Maushop


The house has a few problems, broken shades, bathtub that does drain, uncleared grills
that said
.we loved this house! So charming! Lights of light and beautiful wood floors, lots of windows
some of the appliances were just top of the line! Really great air conditioners (so important!) and huge beautiful new TV. But, most importantly
is Maushop Village itself
.just a perfect vacation spot for families, couples, etc
so close to the beach
beautiful little streets and wonderful landscaping
it all feels so safe and relaxed and beautiful!! Highly recommend

Great location

Located within walking distance to beach and shops/restaurants. Clean and good size for wife and me. Hot water did go out on last day so very cold showers. Also drain was clogged badly (saw this reported by last guest as well). I reported issues and not very sympathetic responses
just that he would take a look the day we were leaving. Overall great time and loved the Cape!

Wonderful cottage

Great getaway spot!

Just my husband and I stayed here and definitely plan on coming back! The house was very clean and so much a close walk to the beach. The only thing that could’ve improved our stay was the shower drain. It was pretty clogged and the tub filled up every time we took a shower. Other than that it was a great time!

My wife and I truly enjoy our stay once we identified the correct property. This is an well appointed property that has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Close and easy walk to the beach. Close to near by shopping and restaurants.

Cape Fall escape

Location great, near ocean. Wife said - "this is so cute ... can we stay an extra day" when we walked in. Place was everything we wanted and Kurig coffee machine was a bonus. We enjoyed the local attractions and restaurants. Highly recommend Cooks - 10 min away.

Maushop on September

We loved the property and our time in Maushop on the Cape. Property was spotless and wonderfully appointed. Host was prompt in getting back to the one question we had. Highly recommend this property. September is a great time of year as things have quieted down yet everything still accessible.

July trip to Maushop Village

The cottage was great! It was perfect for our small group and we loved that it was so close to the beach and the market. The outdoor space was really nice and we were very comfortable inside and out. We had a small issue with the AC but the owner worked with us to resolve it quickly; it was back to working in no time!
