« Such a great stay at the hideaway. The accommodation and views were stunning. Had such a warm welcome from the hosts and the breakfast and attention to detail just made it that bit more special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again »

« Spent 3 nights in Batty’s barn for a wedding where our family stayed in all 3 properties on the farm. The farm is beautiful with loads of colours from the wild flowers. The welcome basket with bread, butter, jam etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. « I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and hosts. The home is so well appointed, down to the silverware. Every detail is rich and inviting. Please ask for the breakfast. If the weather is beautiful you can ask for breakfast in the garden. Fresh orange juice, coffee/tea, and home made warm from the oven croissants and chocolate croissants. For a very reasonable price. Ask about watching a sunset from the ruins of a Roman fort! The owner has a wonderful map with local sites and...
