Vaca-21-303This single-family retreat offers a fantastic waterfront location with 71 feet of waterfront and deep water dockage, making it perfect for boating and fishing enthusiasts. With direct access to Boot Key Harbor, you'll have a 15-minute ride to Sombrero Light for snorkeling or just 5 minutes to the 7 Mile Bridge for fishing adventures. By boat you can also access several restaurants off of Boot Key Harbor including Dockside, Burdiines, and Lazy Days.
Burdines also has a fuel dock, which is close by to the house. If boating and fishing aren't your cup of tea, don't worry! This property has something for everyone. You can relax in the brand new heated pool or take advantage of the included paddleboards for some water activities, and a couple of bikes are included. There are also grilling and outdoor living areas where you can unwind and enjoy the beautiful Florida Keys weather. Fishing right off the dock too. For those looking for beach time, Sombrero Beach is less than 10 minutes away. Bahia Honda State Park is also a short drive of about 20 minutes south. The house itself has multiple levels, with the second floor featuring 3 bedrooms, including a spacious master bedroom with a large tub in the master bath. The second floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen, open living areas, and a separate laundry room. The deck on the second floor provides stunning sunset views. The first level offers a private bedroom with a queen bed, a bonus room with a TV for the kids, and a full bathroom.The house is equipped with free high-speed WiFi, making it convenient for remote work or online learning. There are also three Smart TVs with cable for your entertainment needs. The property comfortably sleeps 10 guests across its 4 bedrooms, and there are 3 full bathrooms for added convenience. Parking is ample with space for 6 cars and a trailer. Covered parking is available. Please note that the rental requires the primary renter to be 28 years or older and to be present on the property at all times. This rental is non-smoking. This property is dog friendly so you are required to select the pet fee option when booking if you are bringing a dog. All dogs must be approved prior to booking. There are breed restrictions due to insurance reasons. Dogs 60lbs or less allowed - must be pre approved. Pet fee is non refundable & taxable. If you are booking onAirbnb~ the pet fee will be asked for after booking as it will not be included in total cost. The fee is based on the breed & size. Dog friendly only - NO cats or other animals. The accommodations were exactly what we needed with 6 adults and 4 children in age 7-12. The bedroom with triple bunk beds and a full and twin bunk sold the property.It was convenient to access the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of America in our boats from the location. The house was very well stocked with bedding, kitchen appliances and dishwasher, plus games for the kids. The swimming pool was enjoyable after being on the boat all day. We had a wonderful time and made lasting memories . Thank you!

Wonderful Family Retreat!We had an amazing stay at this property with two families totaling nine people(kids, young adults, and adults). The space was perfect, providing ample room for everyone to relax and enjoy our time together. The dock was fantastic for our boat, making it easy to access the open turquoise waters for some great fishing, SCUBA, snorkeling, and exploring.We loved cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed grilling outside while spending time in the pool. The variety of books and games available added to our fun family evenings. One of the highlights was spotting manatees who hung out right off the dock several days during our stay—what a treat!The location is ideal, with nearby state parks and the sea turtle rescue center just a mile away. We took full advantage of the beautiful surroundings. The kids loved riding the bikes everyday! A special shoutout to the concierge, who had delivered a birthday cake and balloons for my husband’s birthday upon our arrival. The communication throughout the booking process and our stay was excellent.Overall, everyone had a fantastic time, and we would all love to return to this beautiful retreat. Highly recommend it for families looking for a memorable getaway!

Truly a disappoint!

I booked this property for 11 days but never got to stay there due to my home getting hit/flooded by hurricanes Helene and Milton. This was a business/vacation trip. Our conference was cancelled in Marathon due to hurricane warning in the Keys everyone including our association was credited or refunded. Travel was unsafe throughout most of the state. The governor declared a state of emergency. I didn't purchase travel insurance because if I couldn't go, I figured someone in our company could attend, but these two storms were unprecedented and very large. I didn't even expect a full refund, but I would have thought she'd at least send back a portion. I have owned condos, and I couldn't image doing this to a guest! I have even sent follow up emails requesting a portion of my money back and crickets! VRBO gave me a refund for their portion of the cost. I will never rent from this person again. Communication was poor throughout and never sent receipts for payments even when I specifically asked in emails. I have proof through VISA. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Great location with room for boat

My family of four (2 adults, 2 kids 10yo & 13yo) stayed 7 nights here and it met all of our expectations. The house itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well. We had an unexpected issue arise and it was handled quickly with good communication. We did not use the apartment below but that would be suitable for another couple to stay. There are two staircases to climb in order to reach the main house. The location was great, not far from Key West, close to local beaches and easy access to open water. We rented a boat for two days and were able to keep it tied up to their dock. The pool isn’t big, but it gets the job done - its warm, clean and the kids loved it. We would definitely stay here again.
