The white village of Manilva is located a few kilometers inland from the fishing village on the the coast know as San Luis de Sabinillas.
Sabinillas is a five minute drive and has a beautiful beach, pavement cafes and bars. The village has a working atmosphere for those who want a touch of the real Spain. To the west of Sabinillas there is a yachting marina Puerto Dequesa and nearby golf course. Manilva is well know locally for the finest grapes, red peppers and garlics all home grown in this quaint village. The area has its own Roman Sulphur baths and an Aqueduct. The area is also well know for its festivals, August full moon party -Luna llena de Manilva and in September the Grape Harvest Celebrations. This is a great location for cyclists with lock up garage for bikes.
