While it was a 5 minute walk from the Renn faire, the rooms could use an update. While I booked a king sized bed, our room had two full beds instead. The bathroom was sub par with the tub faucet protruding from the wall by a good 2 inches. (Bare pipe exposed). Said pipe also spewed brown water for 10 minutes before running semi clear. If it wasn't for how disgusting i was from working outside all day i would NOT have showered during my stay, my fiance sure didn't. The AC was weird. The buttons on the actual machine were busted and the only way to get it started was with a janky remote that barely worked. The floor didn't look like it was vacuumed from the last 2 guests and the tv had a good amount of dust on the back. Kinda gross not going to lie. Our door didn't even lock from the inside, the deadbolt was a few millimeters off center and no matter how we pushed or lifted the door it was a no go. The only good thing about our stay was Tammy, the front desk clerk. She was bright and bubbly and just made all of these little issues worth it with her personality alone. She was so excited to see our outfits for faire and asked to take photos, she made our late check in go smoothly and was more than happy to help our tired brains learn how the key cards worked. Tammy is adorable and the only reason I would consider booking another stay here unless they update their cleaning and maintenance regimen.

On today's episode of this old crack house.
When my family and I pulled up to the hotel we were fairly excited. It looked like a cute, quaint, family hotel. We were horribly wrong. When we got to our room the door was open and the staff was still "cleaning". They cleared out shortly and apologized because they were out of towels. We got in our room and it was dirty and gross but surprisingly no bugs. The furniture was pretty much falling apart. The highlight of my night was when I looked on the floor next to the nightstand and found a heavily used glass crackpipe. It would have been bad enough if it was somebody using it to smoke some weed but this was definitely a crack pipe. I guess I'm just lucky it wasn't a needle in the bed. I informed the front desk and while they were apologetic they didn't offer any other rooms or prorate our room. I'm ashamed to say that I didn't push the issue or leave. We spent a horrifyingly uncomfortable night, really just enough to catch a few hours of sleep before we ran the hell out of there. No one was in the office to check out at 5am and they didn't answer the phone so hopefully I don't get charged a late fee. Bottom line I would avoid this place like the plague.

The bathroom was disgusting with mold on the shower walls. The linens looked like they’d never been washed, gray, dingy and full of stains. The floor was littered and not vacuumed fully. I would not recommend this motel to anyone!

Completely unsatisfied !!
I cannot believe Hotels.com would have this place listed on there site!! As soon as we opened the door I could see it was not what we expected. No stopper in the sink...had to let the water run to shave!! The shower curtain was so bad we wouldn't take a shower....looked like it had been used for years!! No fitted sheet on the bed...just an unfitted mattress cover and top sheet, blanket which we didn't use, and bedspread!! We made the best of it and stayed through the night and left early the next morning! The people (owners?) were very nice but I would not recommend staying here!!

Our little getaway
This is an older motel. It has a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioner and a tv besides the bed , dresser and end tables. The bathroom has been remodeled. People at the front desk are very nice, friendly and easy to work with. Only issue was People in the next room were a bit loud with the music but we've had that other places. Would stay there again.

The front desk had no idea how to get my reservation from hotel.com. Took 90 minutes to check me in. The room was horrible not clean didnt even have toilet paper which showed me there was no maid service in there.

This was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.
This was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Creepy people walking around outside all hours of the night acting like they where on some kind of drugs slamming of doors,swearing, hollering, fighting. The bedding looked very dirty hair in the beds like it hasn't been changed. It was all over disgusting and terrible.

Price is right, quality can be better
The people at the front desk were very nice and pleasant. The room wasn’t in very good shape. There was a garbage (plastic bottle and cap) under the bed and a stale smell in the room and bed. It was $67 for the night and we had a decent night sleep. We’d try a different place next time, but appreciated we had a place to sleep.

The only thing good was that it was right on the highway and easy to find. The short hallway needed sweeping, the door lock was hard to use, hot water was only luke warm, no explanation for how to use the TV, paper thin walls and unforunately the room next to us had a couple that continued a noisy fight all night long.

Windows were open when we got there because of the smell in the room. Fixtures in the shower were not attached to the wall. There was a cigarette hole in the comforter and sheet of one of the beds. Comforter was scratchy. I was glad for a small refrigerator and microwave but I couldn’t stand to stay in that room one extra minute. The walls are thin and it seems to be a party hotel. My teammate and I both stayed in separate rooms and both had the same experience of neighbors up all night. Just pay extra and go elsewhere.

Convenient to the fairgrounds, very friendly and helpful staff, but the property itself could use some work! You can tell they’re making improvements, so we’d stay here again if we have another event at the fairgrounds.

Staff was quick to say they were the management and working hard to change their 2.1 rating and was proud of the new rating of 2.4 but in all honesty this place should not be promoted by expedia! Found pictures on line if mold growing in its rooms. Asked to inspect the room which the staff gladly did but room was not clean. Baseboards were scuffed and dirty and bathroom.tub was badly in need of re caulking ..didnt stay nor would I ever stay here in current conditions

the room was cold during the stay. there are no phones in the room. no housekeeping not even for trash. couldn't take a bath unless you stuck a wash cloth in there. even then the water look like a light rust color. if you have older children 8 and up your charged an extra $10.00 per night for them

The host was fair yet seemed like I was an interruption to her tv watching when I checked in. The room was smoke free but stunk like an old soggy cigar. White stains all over the floor carpet. Did not dare take a shower as it looked moldy and smelled Musty. Poor lighting in room.

Very dirty, not following COVID-19 guidelines. Heating was poor. Owner stated that she had just taken over, and that they were giving out rooms they’d never even looked at before. Afraid to take my shoes off the floor was so gross

It is an older motel yet completely up to date with remodeled bathroom, remote control heat/ac unit, and had a refrigerator and microwave.

Perfect affordable overnight stay. Check in was easy, the room was simple but clean and comfortable. Couldn’t get the tv to work but that might’ve been on me.

NEVER STAY HERE. I made a pay-when-you-get-there reservation for one night, ten days prior to my arrival. At 8pm, after a very long day, I tried to check in. The owner was horrible and rude, and claimed my reservation had been canceled earlier because my card was declined. I explained there must be a mistake, my card is fine (NEVER anywhere near limit and I had used it just an hour before), and my card should not have been run yet anyway as I had just arrived! Then he tried to blame Expedia. I told him that I would call Expedia, at which point he made another rude comment and turned around and walked into a back office, never to return. After speaking with three people at Expedia, my suspicions about what really happened were confirmed - it was a busy Ren Faire weekend, all the hotels in the area were booked, and this slimy, greedy, low-life gave my reservation away to a walk-in who was willing to pay more money for any "available" room, made it seem my card was rejected by running an incorrect number in order to get rid of my reservation, and then blamed Expedia. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing. Apparently this is an ongoing issue with this disgusting motel, so Expedia was able to give me a coupon for my trouble (I had to end up driving three more hours home), and they escalated the issue to potentially end their partnership with the motel as apparently I am not the only one complaining. Stay literally anywhere else! The place looks shady and gross and unclean anyway.
