« Very beautiful hotel, little paradise with pools of charm, incredible bar, sea view rooms breathtaking! Hôtel décoration, statues, furnitures are so well thought every thing there is very beautiful. Staff and management team are very dynamic, welcoming, supportive and very helpful. There is a lot of activities to be done, visits of islands, sand bicycle, kayaking, boat excursions etc... the water center is very well...

« Every bedroom, gathering space, and lounging area throughout the house (inside and out) is comfortably appointed and thoughtfully designed. The staff of the house are warm, inviting, and exceptionally professional. We loved the location along the water - close access for beach walks and shopping, yet plenty of quiet and privacy while still steps away from activity. "I reserved and paid back in October. When we arrived on Jan 11 -- we were told that our reservation was cancelled. In fact they were hosting a wedding - and cancelled our reservation without any warning. They proposed a disgusting replacement hotel (one-star backpacker hotel) which was 30€ per night rather than the 90€ per night we paid. We wasted 2 hours of limited time in beautiful Lamu. They refused to reimburse us and refused to send an email confirming that they cancelled a paid reservation (I went to see them 2 times). AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS - THEY HAVE ZERO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. If you book with them (Expedia should remove them from their list) - you risk losing your reservation and being in a position last minute to find an alternative. Luckily we found a beautiful AirBNB (Andavelo) very last minute who were incredible!"
