Summary:
Horizons 4 #176 is a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom, and loft vacation rental located in Mammoth Lakes.

The Space:
Bring family and friends to enjoy this condo that is perfect for year round activities. It is located just off of Old Mammoth Road near the Eagle Lodge shuttle stop, Sierra Star Golf Course, Mammoth Meadow, and Mammoth Creek. Visitors will find themselves within walking distance to several shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.

The living room is furnished with an oversized sectional couch placed near a fireplace and mounted flat screen TV. After a day of skiing and snowboarding it is ideal to light the fireplace and warm yourself. Set a cozy ambiance as you unwind on the couch with your guests.

A chef can easily whip up their favorite dishes in here. There are updated appliances and granite countertops. Guests can keep the chef company by taking one of the four seats at the built-in breakfast bar. Alongside this dining space, the dining table with seating for 6 is right around the corner.

Doors leading to the balcony are found in the corner as well. If the fireplace gets a little too warm, step outside to catch a breath of crisp mountain air. The balcony has nice views of the surrounding pine trees.

The master bedroom holds a King-size bed, TV, and has an attached bathroom. Down the hall the guest bedroom is similarly arranged with a King-size bed and TV. The guest bathroom has a standalone shower. Upstairs is a lofted space with further bedding. This is perfect for the kids with a Queen-size bed, two Twin-size beds, and an attached bathroom.

There are 2 outdoor parking spots with permits. The community sauna, hot tub, rec room, and laundry facilities are available year round. The recreation room has a ping pong table, pool table, and video games. The communal pool, tennis court, picnic area, and BBQ stations are only available during the summer.

Real nice house. Bathrooms were a little on the small size, but overall a nice place to stay. Someone prior had broken a cabinet that I reported that day of check in.

I was notified 2 days before our trip that the jacuzzi was out of service. I contacted Grand Welcome at that point and said I wanted to cancel our reservation if the jacuzzi isn’t working. Grand Welcome told us they contacted property management and HOA about this issue and jacuzzi was working. It was not working correctly when we arrived. It was 48 degrees outside maybe 80 degrees in jacuzzi and not heating up over next 3 hours. I complained multiple times Grand Welcome and asked for some compensation from them, management for building, HoA, or owners and told there was nothing they could do. Use caution with Grand Welcome as somebody is not forth coming about property amenity issues-which somebody knew from the obvious first email alert

Rented for a ski trip. Fine if you aren’t a hotel snob. Only complaints would be in the master bedroom. The bed was very soft and uneven, and the shower is tiny, less than 3x3 and the shower head was old and nasty and the water pressure and volume were terrible. The rest of the place is pretty nice, especially the kitchen and living room. We didn’t use the loft area so no comments on the beds or bathroom up there. They should spend a few bucks on the items noted in the master and I would stay here again.

Perfect location! We stayed in the 2bd loft and it was way roomy. Stores, restaurants and outdoor equipment rentals all with walking distance. And all the beautiful lakes and sight seeing areas are minutes away.

I'm not sure who to be disappointed with. Vrbo, Grand Welcome or the property owner. Communication through email is extremely slow and I was not able to reserve the property for a fourth night. A sign left on the refrigerator by housekeeping was half written in spanish and half in english. The spanish half said not to throw away the food that was in the refrigerator and the other half in english said the owner would be back in a few days. Good thing I understand both languages. To me this was unacceptable, the refrigerator should be clean as I am expected to leave it when I depart. I picked a pan that I thought I could successfully make pancakes in and I was wrong. Pancakes stuck, we dumped the coffee out and went out to eat the whole trip. Carpet was dingy, showers were extremely tight and window blinds were in bad shape. I thought I might get charged for breaking them. I called to get extra towels and I received a text message the next morning telling me to exchange my old ones for new. I don't like to complain, I am a camper and can happily sleep in a tent on the hard ground. I simply like to get what I pay for.

We had a couple of small issues like our wi-fi was not working and within minutes, the property manager was at our door with a hot-spot. Overall great property and look forward to staying here again. Location is awesome.

We had an amazing stay. The condo was very cozy and nice. My daughter said she had the best birthday here. We will definitely come back again. I loves how easy the process was, not difficult at all to book our stay.

We had a great stay here. When I think of Mammoth, this is the classic Mammoth condo. Well stocked (except the unit was completely out of toilet paper upon arrival and it was after hours so we had to go get our own)....no big deal. Comfortable unit, easy check in, everything as described. Many thanks for a nice stay.

My family consisted of my husband and I along with our 3 young adult kids with 3 of their friends. We had an amazing time. Check in easy , place was close to Eagle Lodge, easier access to lifts. Condo clean, sleeps 8 easily, supplied with enough dish ware/pots, etc., would suggest having extra blankets though. Heater worked great. Kids loved the jacuzzi and ping pong but pool table required money. Would go again.
