C'était le lit !
Nous avons choisi un chambre mi-gamme, situé dans l'aile "moderne" (années 1970/80?) de l'hotel. A gagner le chambre il faut monter quelques marches, ici, là. Le chambre était bien propre, mais le décor semblé plus en accord avec l'époque de l'aile. Le (grand) lit était le plus confortable qu'aucun hotel que nous avons visité: c'était l'invitation à faire la grasse matinée! Nous n'avons pas diner au reste de l'hotel mais le petit déjeuner était du bon qualité et a profusion. A reccomander.

Our room overlooked the cocktail bar next door which kept us awake until 11.30, and some sort of concrete building in the other windows. The room was tired, but worst of all was when we went to breakfast, there were dogs in the restaurant. For me this is incredibly unhygienic. As a retired forensic investigator I know only too well what people are breathing in when dogs are in an inside venue, and believe me, it really isn't pleasant. Will not be returning under any circumstances. Standards have fell sharply to what it once was.

We were unaware that an event was taking place prior to your arrival as they are closed on a Sunday. I am aware that we did offer to move your room and this was declined. I can appreciate that this would have been an inconvenience for you. Our hotel does accept dogs, however they are not allowed in any of our food and beverage outlets. We do however allow service dogs in these areas as they need to accompany the guest/owner. I am sorry to read that you will not return to our hotel in the near future. The hotel is in a convenient location for the theatres and restaurants in the town centre. We had a comfortable room, though I had to pay extra to upgrade my room when the step free access room I had requested wasn’t available. Staff were helpful and polite. There was a good choice of breakfast items on the buffet.

We've stayed before, and will stay again!!
We have stayed here a few times over many years and its a beautiful hotel. The rooms are meticulously cared for and presented and the staff are fantastic! The breakfasts were wonderful, a full range of food being available. This time our room was rather cold, in spite of the radiator being on full blast, but staff brought us an extra plug in and we were toasty! Well be here again!

A unique property and beautifully situated. The room was a bit dissappointing - not worthy of the grand facility and for relatively little investment could be much nicer than they are. I hope there's an upgrade planned without turning the place into an 800 quid a night palace. The breakfast was very good, staff were nice, and overall I'd certainly stay here agin.

A lovely stay. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was good and the bar well stocked. It's an old building so some aspects were a little tired. But, overall, everything was clean and tidy.

Poor breakfast
Check-in was good, we had arrived at lunchtime and our room was ready. As we had to leave early the following morning, we arranged to have breakfast at 7.30am as soon as the breakfast room opened. Everything is self service, which is fine, however the majority of the “HOT” buffet items were COLD! Pretty poor when this is the start of service!!

Whats not to like
Second time we have stayed here now.. and have already booked a return stay in December. This hotel and the staff there are excellent. Whats not to like.

Of course the older properties you need to know about on rooms and bedrooms etc But the area in Malvern is excellent and minute walk to cafe etc We meet up there as central U.K. and walked everywhere up the Malvern Hills. Very easy to walk thou Breakfast and evening food in abbey is good for us all. Then Sunday went to abbey cathedral Relaxing weekend and place to stay

The hotel is in an old building. Some of the decor is outdated and needs modernising, but it is clean and comfortable and the staff are polite and helpful.

Standard rooms were £70, we upgraded to the best available option on Expedia (think it was an exec) we were expecting a nice room for £180 for one night but it was very basic. We were disappointed after having splashed out. Other than that, we didn’t see much of the hotel as there was a wedding on and dogs aren’t allowed in any common areas anyway. The area is lovely though, good location and very good breakfast.
