« My family and I were looking for a cozy winter getaway to relax and enjoy time together. This hit the mark! I will say if you have mobility issues, this is a bit tricky to reach the door in the snow. My mother-in-law needed lots of help. It was slick and the path to the front door was loose rocks. It snowed overnight and was hard to find the path to shovel in the morning. Aside of this, it was a perfect stay. The home was clean and the layout was perfect. « We just got back from our stay in Ray Brook and really loved the cabin. The furnishings were very nice, and the bed was super comfortable. The location is convenient to both Lake Saranac and Lake Placid, with lots of hiking trails nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of space to eat and play board games on the island. Our dog loved the windows and screened in porch. Highly recommend! »
