un Cadre magnifique , le décor est très bien étudié … tenture , boiseries etc... Piscine nettoyée chaque jour, c'est un plus car la plage n'est pas très accueillante , due aux algues et les Beach boys qui vs harcèlent , heureusement il y la sécurité de l'établissement qui veille à ce qu'ils n'accèdent pas à la plage privée ..le personnel est chaleureux et courteois , et la nourriture à dominante Italienne est excellente ..

Le Kenya, toujours aussi acceuillant
petit problème de nuisances sonores au départ près de la chambre...mais le personnel est très à l'écoute et le lendemain nous changions de chambre. Tout s'est déroulé au mieux pendant le séjour. A chaque demande il y avait une solution trouvée. Le sourire de chacun du personnel était très agréable. Le all inclusive fonctionne -attention au choix de la monnaie pour paiement à l'arrivée - le "système ne déroge pas " Seul problème les algues dans l'océan. Là, l'hôtel n'y peut pas grand chose car les touristes manquent et les hôtels ferment...d'où le manque d'entretien de la longue plage. L'hôtel ratisse chaque matin pour nous faire une bande de sable propre. Nous y retournons avec plaisir l'année prochaine.

Sandies Village is crying out for renovations, especially the bathroom of the villa and the main pool. The hotel is more a 3 stars hotel . But the staff is amazing! Lucy the massage therapist is professional and kind. For the entertainment team Pauline was fun, respectful and wonderful with kids. At the restaurant we enjoyed flavorful meals. George one of the servers went over my expectations helping me to order a pizza for my son . Also the trainers Brown and Peace always served us with big smiles. We had a good time!

We were checked into a room where the AC and fridge were not working. We were moved to another room but the staff only cleaned the room 2 times during our visit and we had to request it to be done. After cleaning we were missing items to include a set of car keys that will require a reprogram of the vehicle. EXPENSIVE!!! The beds are hard as a rock and there are no blankets! The food was good but you can’t even swim in the ocean and the staff had zero sense of urgency to do anything.

Check in & check out was a painful long experience. They didn’t have enough towels for our rooms and they said they had an issue at the laundry. English food and inland foods were major. I think at the coast of Malindi there should be more focus on traditional Swahili foods like pilau wali wa mnazi and other awesome delicacies from that region that are in line with their Swahili themed rooms and cottages. I did like the pool. It’s deep enough for advanced swimmers but also shallow enough for children and games. We had stuff encouraging us to join group activities which I think is a great initiative. Generally enjoyed the hospitality and I thought everyone was very kind, friendly and respectful. Be aware of the local touts selling your packages at the beach. Wouldn’t recommend and doesn’t seem safe. Arrange your tours from the hotel or travel apps!!

A decent way place but much has left to slowly deteriorate in the rooms. Bathrooms need to be refinished. They don’t have enough towels in the property for the pool and your room. You are always waiting for new towels to be made available. A waste of time. Consider bringing your own.

New Year vacation
I really enjoyed staying at the Sandies Tropical Village. Very relaxing atmosphere, I loved the terrace with a nice and comfy couch where I spent much time reading. Amazing beach party on the New Year eve. Everyone was very friendly and accommodative. I will definitely come back again.

The rooms very of a very low standard nothing has been done for the last decade. We had to shift our rooms two times as no water first then no hot water and then moving to the second room after coming back to the room in the scene I g full of ants and bugs. Very disappointed stay

Vale muito a pena!!!!
Minha estadia com minha amiga foi ótima. O quarto era imenso e bem claro (do jeito que gosto). Era limpo todos os dias. A cama muito grande e bem confortável. Chuveiro ótimo e ar condicionado maravilhoso. A comida muito variada e as atividades na piscina muito divertidas. Gostei também da apresentação de danças típicas que teve no auditório. A praia tem bastante algas mas de manhã cedo e no fim do dia fica ótimo. Super recomendo pois fui muito bem atendida. Comentei que estava comemorando 40 anos de formada e tive ótimas surpresas.

Why should i write a review for expedia when they have been unable to secure a refunf gor me from kenya airways after i paid expedia £800 for flights to kenya in may 2020 that Kenya airways cancelled. Fantastiskt vid stranden
Ett trevligt fräscht hotell vid stranden strax utan för stan. Trevliga loungeområden, poolområden och beach och bra frukost med det mesta man kan önska sig. Trevlig och servceminded personal som är där för att ge dig en bra upplevelse. Bodde vid dreamgarden i ett stort rum med balkong mot poolen. På kvällen kom personal och förberedde inför kvällen. Det enda som inte var ok var badrummet som är mer som en kvarleva från svunnen tid med lutning som gör att duschvattnet rinner ut i hallen nej gör om badrummen till samma standard som allt annat.

el hotel en general es bastante bueno, la playa es increíble y el desayuno buffet excelente. Por 150 shilling estas en Malindi. Creo que deberían mejorar la conexión al Wifi porque en muchas zonas en realmente pobre.

Nice hotel and food, POOR communication
A friend and I came here for a few days in May 2021. However, we had issues with both Hotels.com and the hotel itself. While we booked Sandies Tropical Village, no one informed us that property was actually closed due to covid, and we were placed in Diamonds Dreams of Africa. While the property was great, the pricing was higher. When we booked we thought we getting all inclusive, but it was actually just breakfast and dinner. The time were restrictive, so for lunch you can choose to eat there out of pocket (about $20 a person) or leave the hotel. We ended up upgrading to the full all-inclusive, but we found that the rate was higher than at Sandies, and that as foreigners, we were charged double what our Kenyan friends had paid. All, not all of the drinks are included, just a list of 4 cocktails, which was fine, but something to note. I was also quoted a different price than my friend; overall, not consistent communication from Hotels.com or Diamonds. While we loved the hotel and the beach, and the amazing food, we would not stay here again because of the lack of communication.

De ligging is uniek. Goed onderhouden prachtige tuinen. Het restaurant die lekkere, gezonde verse maaltijden elke dag op het menu heeft. De kamers kunnen wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Een probleem wordt adequaat door de managers opgelost.

Het ressort is prachtig gelegen.Aan strand en toch ook mooie tuin met prachtige bomen. Badkamers zijn aan vernieuwing toe. Op de site staan nieuwe maar er zijn nog oude die zéér sober zijn. O.a de onze ;)

The check in was kind of slow but overall loved my stay there. Close to the airport, quiet resort. Wifi signal in the common area is poor. The room was clean, food was awesome and the stuff were helpful if one needed anything. I would recommend this place and would not mind staying there again.
