Good place to stay in Malang

Good modern hotel in convenient location near city centre. Only possible downside is that breakfast has limited range for Western taste. It seems strange the only fresh fruit available pappay, watermelon and melon, but none of the mangos or pineapple on sale on the streets nearby. Roof restaurant has view over city, food OK, option for non smoking is only with questionable live music

Nice hotel but lacking of good facilities

I had 4 days 3 nites stayed with 3 rooms booked with my elderly parents and my 29yr old son. The rooms were good and clean. However, we were not quite happy on our arrival. Having travelled almost 3 hrs from Singapore to Malang (delayed in Spore for an hour) and travelled by road for another 3 hrs, no one at the Hotel help us with our baggage, No porter was available and no one helped us to unload the baggages including wheelchair. My friends in Malang had to help us down. I had to stepped into the Lobby myself and ask the Front desk where are their staff. They apologised frantically and got on to assist with our baggage after being questioned. There was only one welcome drinks in one of the rooms but there wasn't any on the other two rooms. I don't understand why. My son and I are gym enthusiasts and find out later that night that the Gym equipment was not working at all . The thread mill was faulty, the weight machine wire burst and was not in maintain and secured properly. It could have hurt my son or other guests if this continue to happen. The dinner we had at the SkytowerRestaurant and the Buffet breakfast was disappointing as the food was not to my expectation. The only decent meal or dish I had was the Omelette, at least it was hot to eat. Others were not kept warm and even the coffee was cold. We had to tell them to warm the coffee before serving.

Great Hotel

Great Hotel with very high standards of service. The rooftop terrace is great for having a drink of have a meal with a stunning view of the city. The room was clean and modern. Shower was nice with good hot water.

Best business hotel in Malang

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Polite and friendly staff. The sky room on rooftop is unique and a must-try. Serves very good dim sum and banana fritters. Best value for quality. Very well managed overall. Ask for a room for 5th floor if you want a lounge area outside of your room. We stay here every time and will come back for sure.

Excellent Hotel.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Always smile. Very fast check in and check out. Rooms are spacious. Beds big and comfy. Breakfast has more variety but not suitable for foreigners as it's only Indonesian food. Location is good. Massage is very bad not recommended.

Hotel chain langganan kami

Kami menginap di hotel ini selama 3 hari dengan membooking dua kamar yang bersebelahan. Saya, Suami, 3 anak gadis (10,8,2) dan Ibu saya. Kami menghendaki kamar yang memiliki connecting tp tidak tersedia, tapi kami tidak mempermasalahkan itu karena sebenarnya kami menghabiskan waktu di Batu dan berfikir Malang dan Batu adalah kota yang sama. Pemilihan hotel ini juga karena sebelumnya kami pernah menginap di Best Western lainnya, sehingga kami tahu sehingga kami tahu standar pelayanannya. Makanan untuk breakfast bervariasi dan kami cukup puas. Lokasinya menurut kami tidak dekat dengan keramaian sehingga sedikit sulit bila ingin mencari tempat makan. Berhubung kami hanya menginap saja dan beraktivitas selama tiga hari tersebut di Batu, kami tidak mempermasalahkannya. Overall, kami menyukai standar pelayanan Best Western.

Friendly Staff & clean hotel

I was staying with my family, on leisure trip Staff were quite friendly. the best part of the hotel was the room cleanliness & comfort. Things that need to be improved : Afternoon tea was very poor, water at the pool was not crystal clear (not enough pool towels), breakfast variety (please fix the chicken noodles it was terrible) Overall we enjoyed stay at this hotel .

De skulle hjälpa oss med taxi till flygplatsen, trots att vi frågade vid tre olika tillfällen fanns det ingen taxi sen när vi skulle åka. Dålig service! Takbaren höll livekonsert hela kvällen, gick inte att sova när man hade rum högt upp.

Kecewa pelayanan Hotel Best Western OJ Malang

Seharusnya sudah termasuk Sarapan pagi tapi kami dikatakan tidak dapat, setelah kami bisa menunjukkan bukti baru diganti dengan kotakan tapi pada keesokan harinya ( terlambat, yg kami butuhkan pada hari H karena karena ada acara di hotel Gajahmada akhirnya kami harus keluar untuk mencari sarapan pagi. Dan ketika Check Out bukti Open Credit Card kami tidak dikembalikan atau dirobek sebagai bukti dibatalkan, dengan alasan tidak ketemu.

Great value hotel

This hotel has large, spacious rooms that are clean and have all the features you would expect from a much more expensive place: large tv; free wifi; minibar; good bathroom and a big comfortable bed. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. I felt they went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and seemed to have a genuine personal interest in making sure I had a good time. This extended to all staff: front desk; supervisors; even the friendly security guys outside The staff were able to organise a car and driver at relatively short notice to take me to see Mt Bromo - which was the main reason for my visit to Malang. The hotel has a modest and pleasant under cover swimming pool. The location is fine - only a couple of minutes by taxi from the railway station and only slightly more than that to the two main shopping malls. My only comment is that the service in the very popular 12th floor Skybar could be smartened up a bit.
