Le grand avantage de ce sympathique petit hôtel est sa position hyper centrale. Pas de petit-déjeuner hélas, et la connexion à internet est un peu faiblarde…

Location is perfect for easy access to good, shopping & sights. The room had a good standard of cleanliness. It has Heritage in the name but the only thing that is truly heritage is the building and location. The furniture and decorations are very modern but also comfortable and convenient.

The staff very nice and cute even I cannot speak Malay very well. They are very patiently and helpful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Hair and body shampoo, towel,toothbrush etc all stuff are good. Highly recommended for everyone.

Great Location Good for Short Stay
I agree with all other great comments abt this place. I only flag these 2 not too pleasant experiences - 1) wifi was weak to the point of unusable at all. I totally cannot do any planning or google search next day itinerary. Counter staff simply says it is weekend and it is like that. 2) Shower area slant towards door and water flows out and wet half the toilet floor - messy! Again staff said yes it is same for all rooms. Omg Lastly, nothing to do w the hotel, when u park at the open carpark across the Public Bank, try not to park under the trees (see pic) esp overnight.

We stayed for 3 days 2 nights and the hotel is located at the heart of Malaca central and is walking distance to Jonker Street, Riverside and the heritage site and the hotel is one of the heritage house. The staff are friendly and helpful such as Ms Tayeh. The hotel room is clean and cosy and we will come back to this hotel again.

Love the location with friebdly hotel staff
I was lucky to have a spacious toilet and most importantly, the staffs are friendly and care for the hotel guest safety too... very approachable staffs and always ready to serve the guest. Thank you for making our stay enjoable From room 218 (15-17 july)

Walkable hotel
Very nice hotel, love the decor. Also very walkable with parking at the Museum parking lot close by. Also love the windows with natural light. Will stay there again! :)

Great location - most of the major areas of interests (including restaurants) are within easy walking distance. The staff are courteous and helpful. However, the room I was in had shutters that could not be open (great for the afternoon sun, but otherwise frustrating) BUT no curtains - so was awoken by the early morning light. And there is no breakfast and not even the possibility of an early morning coffee - unless you are happy with making it yourself using (not very good) instant, and powdered creamer! The hotel is right by an extremely busy road and so there is traffic noise right up into the late night and early morning. Nonetheless - extremely reasonably priced for a budget hotel.

Fantastic
This is a great little hotel, that is extremely close to all the action of Jonker St. area, but far enough to be nice and quiet. It is super clean and comfortable, with excellent staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Nice heritage hotel near everything
Located just around the corner from the iconic Christ Church and Stadthuys, this hotel is well positioned in the heart of historic Malacca! As terrific as its position is the well-maintained room with all modern comforts like AC while maintaining its heritage theme in its decors. You will definitely find this hotel an excellence base to explore the historic city of Malacca!

Decent. Wifi leaves a lot to be desired
Decent room and cleanliness. Though occasional ant or mosquito. Room was practically windowless - or well, window with a view of a wall with plants. But did not bother me, wasn't here expecting a view. Cash deposit of 100RM required during stay. A little unexpected resulting in less cash in hand during the trip but fortunately turned out to be inconsequential. Service from staff was generally ok and friendly. Though did encounter some behaviour which I could describe as a paranoid... Biggest con : it's year 2020 but WiFi internet connection worse than that in 1999....

Hotel was located very near to Night Market, Hard Rock Cafe, River Cruise which made it very convenient. However, Hotel was not located by the river as seen in their pictures. So, there is no room with river view. Staff was friendly and welcoming. As for boutique Hotel, this Hotel is actually quite nice. Bathroom is so spacious and nice. Even nicer if they add bathtub in it. Amenities was complete from bottled water, safety box, tea, slippers, hangers. However, parking lot is a bit far from the Hotel. Overall, I had a pleasant stay in this Hotel.

Very relaxed atmosphere, staff very polite and accommodating. Rooms are cleaned daily as per your request . Rooms were neat and tidy. Security was good. A quiet place for total privacy for family or couples. Wifi was excellent except when fully loaded with over traffic at times. Good location to get around Malacca with ease. It would be perfect to include breakfast for convenience, but it’s not a requirement as most hotels or food outlets are nearby to go have your meals and are affordable too.

Great little hotel, and perfect location.
Absolute gem this hotel, and the staff are just A1. The rooms are great, the one negative comment we would have is that the mattress was a bit hard, but then again we are old. Clean, bright, well maintained and in a perfect spot. Step out the door and it's only a few minutes to all the 'old town' attractions. If you arrive by bus, lots of them stop only a 100mts or so away; by car there is on street parking at the rear of the hotel. (Note, there are silly little parking coupons you need to buy at a shop, the hotel may have some. Parking is 60sen per hour, 8-5. Cannot stop a car in front of the hotel!). No breakfast, but lots of choices within a 10 min walk. Well worth staying here.

JonkeRED is Awesome
Very impressive service, great location accessible to tourist site, food and shopping. Spacious for a 25 room hotel with free hot drinks. Highly recommended and you won’t be disappointed.
