« Excellent base for exploring the area. Staff were super helpful and polite. Had a REALLY creaky bed on the first night so didn’t get much sleep. Told staff the following morning and we were moved straight away. »

« Stayed in the windmill for just one night after arriving from France after a long drive. What a place! Gorgeous old English pub with lots of places to smack your head and absolutely nothing is straight… the room itself is lovely and simple with a great bed and everything you could need. We went down for a beer and a meal and all of the staff were lovely and could not do enough for you.. the meal was fantastic, I took, with my son, the beef Wellington which is the best I have ever had, even...

« Breakfast looked lovely but didn't taste as good as it looked. Possibly our fault as we went to breakfast 30 minutes before it finished. »

« Great food and choice of drinks. Room was lovely, although it needed a thinner quilt, as it was far too hot. A bit disappointed that breakfast was not served until 9.00 am, although they did offer me a take away hamper. This was a business trip so I could not hang around for breakfast. I would definitely stay again though. »
