« The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food. We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...

« From start to the end it was an experience we needed. We felt like queen and king. Room is super clean and there were no flys in it. It is December but temperature was not hot or cold just perfect. They gave us free organic mosquito repellent oils and free water bottles to keep. There were free water in the room every morning but if you purchase at the restaurant it is 12 seol. Food is free. Breakfast is a simple but healthy and enough. Cheese, salami, olive, tomato, couple fruits and cereal....

« Eine sehr schöne Anlage, mein zimmer hatte leider keine funktionierende steckdose. Auch beim ansprechen (Hotelmanger) wurde dies leider ignoriert und gesagt, ich könnte ja im haupthaus laden. Desweiteren hatte mein zimmer kein Ventilator, wie andere zimmer einen hatten. Da wir uns ausgetauscht haben, wusste wir auch dass alle das selbe gezahlten hatten. Das finde ich etwas schade! »

« True jungle experience. Brought in on long covered top boat, must walk on mud steps to get from boat to real steps. Cabins are rustic with screen windows. Bed covered in mosquito netting. Cold showers. Power on 6-9 pm, which was fine bc you go to sleep early. Meals were quite good. Our guide, Marcello, provided by the lodge, was excellent. He saw a myriad of bugs and animals we never would have spotted. Marcello very knowledgeable, made our trip. He took us out on a boat for piranha fishing and...
