This motel is right off the Interstate so very convenient. It’s an older place, but has been kept up. No amenities, but has the standard things most motels have. It was clean our overnight stay was adequate.

I meant to put 2 stars over all but it put in 4 stars. No amenities to speak of, my receipt says continental breakfast but person at desk said they haven't had breakfast for 3 years. The ceiling looked like it was going to fall at any time. Would not return to this place.

Not very clean, service not very good
There was a heavy damp moldy smell. Holes and stains in the towels. Beds were very uncomfortable. Tub backed up and we stood in 6 inches of water. Microwave was dirty before we used it. Fridge was not cold enough at all. When we first arrived the manager walked in front of us into the office by five feet and didn’t hold the door open for us and just let it shut in our face. No smiles from the two people running it. No “thank you for staying with us” or checking on our needs during our stay. I expected a little more courtesy and comfort. The rooms weren’t super cheap either, so I expected a little more. Will not stay there again.

Don’t be fool by national chains
Budget hotel that’s a lot better then the other big name budget hotels in Madisonville. Don’t let the fancy national brand names fool you. You are gonna pay more to stay at many of them and get a lower quality room and less service.

Basically got what we paid for. Much cheaper than other hotels in the area. Had good reviews on Expedia. The check in man was very nice. But the property info stated 24/7 front desk. He was there for us, but behind a locked door where you had to be buzzed in. Some others in our party arrived later than us and were unable to check in because they couldn't get anyone to answer the door. The room was fairly clean. Shower head was super low and tub didn't drain which was gross. I specifically stated I had three in our room, pretty sure I even paid an extra $5 for that. But there were only enough towels in our room for 2 people. So I had to go back to the lobby, get buzzed in, and request another set of towels. Beds weren't very comfy and I had to request another pillow which I did get. At 8:30 the next morning, housekeeping opened our door without even knocking even though check out was 11:00. When we did go to check out, no one was at the front desk. Sign said they were cleaning rooms and to come find them. We didn't want their little bit of breakfast, but if you did, not sure how you were supposed to get to it. I just left our room key by our door. If you just need an airconditioned room with a bed and a shower, it'll work. If we come to this town again, though, I'll pay to stay at one of the nicer places.

Decent stay
We had a 4 night stay, it was ok. The roaches made me uncomfortable and the floors aren't carpeted, they didn't seem mopped so our feet/socks were dirty. But the beds were clean and comfortable, they had the best motel pillows I've ever slept on. Housekeeping came by every morning & they are very available if you need anything. For the affordable price it was fine. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. I requested a room on the 1st floor to avoid the steps and they gave it to me no issue at all.

Overall, my stay was ok for the two nights I needed but the look of the hotel initially gave some sketch vibes. The room did have a strange smell (like tobacco mixed with some type of food-I couldn't place it but was a bit overwhelming), some dust and a few dead June bugs on the floor, sheets were a bit rough and the room could use some updates (bedding, paint, etc.). Check in was a little primitive, still using handwritten info cards but not a big deal and the man was very pleasant, no issues. Hotel is conveniently close to a lot of places to eat and jump on/off the highway but pretty quiet for the area. I don't know if I'd go back but wouldn't not recommend, especially for the price for a quick trip and place to sleep.
